Lizzie's P.O.V.

I found myself in a pitch black room with my wrists shackled to a cold wall sending icy shivers down my spine. At least my feet were on the ground. I knew that whoever did this knew more about me than I did.

I was going to try and sleep when a white bright glow appeared in front of my eyes making me blind ‘til it disappeared. I could somewhat see someone clothed in gold standing before my eyes with a torch lamp in their hand. They were staring at me and their eyes looked like they were dead.

“I’m sorry Lizzie that it had to go this way.” I figured now was actually a man.

“What do you mean? And how do you know my name?”

“I know a lot more than you think.”

“Oh yeah, like what?” I asked him interested.

“Like make you disappear, teleport anyone including me from one place to another, drain your powers…”

“I get the point, but what did you do with my powers?”

“I drained them so you would stay here with me…”

“I wouldn’t want to stay with someone who ruins someone else’s wedding day that I was to be part of.”

“Oh, is that why you look gorgeous and blend in nicely with the rest of my palace.”

“What are you talking about? I don’t look anything like what you’re talking about.”

“Stick to what you say, but you’ll never leave without problems following you.”

“Can I at least go to the wedding and than you can do with me whatever you wish?”

“Sorry no can do ‘cause I don’t trust you enough.”

“Please you have my true word you monster.” I basically spat into his face.

“Not with the way your acting I don’t care what you want, but I get what I want first, understood?”

“No.”

“Than we will see what happens from here, shall we?”

“Kill me now I don’t care what happens now. Just do it.”

“Very well than, Gideon watch her she’s still dangerous since there was still some magic that she has locked away. Got it?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Let her loose but keep her in here.” He gave him the key and stood ready to leave.

“Yes, sir.”

This was starting to sound like cadet camp. He gave Gideon a pat on the back and turned to me to say that I shouldn’t try anything stupid with him that it would cause problems if anything happened and it didn’t work. After the so called gesture he clapped his hands and disappeared.

It was quiet for a few minutes and I was still shackled to the wall wrists hurting in pain from holding them up in agony.

Finally I spoke up and said to his face, “You heard him let me go!”

“No, it’s not possible you know? I’m in charge now.” He stood straight and tall looking like a soldier who was just hired.

“C’mon my arms hurt enough. Doesn’t it hurt you to treat people the way you do?” I asked willing to try anything to get my arms free.

He answered by walking over to me and put a stone like hand on my shoulder and squeezed. He kept on doing it harder and harder ‘til I yelped in pain. He smiled to show that he was satisfied. I felt a fiery pain going through my shoulder and it hurt more now to hold my arms up than ever.

After he let go all he said was: “Learn your lesson missy?”

I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction that he thought he deserved. He did it again this time I screamed until I felt the rush of air come out of me. He clamped one of his monster hands around my throat and tightened his grip making it impossible to breathe. The last thing I saw before everything went black was a man smiling proud of himself for what he was capable of doing. I felt dizzy as blackness caused my eyes to shut.
