Chapter 16.
One unforgettable day.

AN: Birthday lang naman 'to ni Lyza. I think it's okay to go ahead and skip this part. :)

–Lyza's POV–

Emeghed. Time flies so fast. Parang kahapon lang nagcecelebrate ako ng 15th birthday ngayon 18th na. Grabeeee.

"See you later babe." hinalikan ako ni Ralph sa pisngi bago umalis. Sinundo nya kasi ako kanina para magbreakfast bago magsimula magprepare. Tapos hinatid nya ako dito sa hotel.

Pumasok na ako sa room ko tapos nakitang andun na yung mag-aayos sakin, pati yung nag-aayos ng mga susuotin ko.

Bright lights and cameras ang sumalubong sakin. Everything was beautiful, ganda nung venue, ang luwag at ang laki, and everyone inside, smiling at me.

My parents where there infront, smiling. Yon ang bumuo sa araw ko.

Without them, hindi magiging ganito kasaya 'tong debut ko. Without them, hindi nga siguro ako makaka-debut eh.

Ang sumalubong sakin, si Ivan. I asked Ralph if he was ok with it, and he said ok lang naman daw.

"You look lovely. This time seryoso na ako." Bulong ni Ivan habang naglalakad kaming dalawa.

"Thank you, Ivan." Nginitian ko sya.

Nagkasundo kami nung nasa Boracay kami. Dun ko nakita na tunay namang mabait si Ivan eh, tinotopak lang talaga minsan. Gentleman din sya at makwento.

Thoughts came into my mind while people where smiling and clapping. Every friend i know is here. Also yun business partners nila mommy, nandito rin. Tyaka, ang laki pala ng venue.

Ang kumuha sa atensyon ko ay yung table ng grupo. Kumpleto sila, may dagdag pa.

Nakaupo sila dun lahat at nakangiti lang saakin.

The host started talking, una was prayers, and then nagstart magbigay ng message bago program proper.

Pinakaunang tumayo ay si Kryzzel.

"Bestfriend! Napakakulit, napakadaldal at napakaserious mo. You're 18 na! Remember the time na nakapasok ka sa ano.. nung may nakita kang aso. Haha. That moment. Stay pretty, humble, kind and just the way you are. I love you Lyza Generoso, bestfriend!"

"Giiiirl happy birthday! Hmm, the best experiences i had were always with you! And you're one of those who guided me up to this day and i will always be thankful for that. Happy happy birthday and i love you. Yiee."

"Lyzaaaa. Uhm, happy 18th birthday, 18 years of awesomeness. I don't want to be that dramatic but thank you for almost everything. Even the bad times, we both learned. Ikaw yung nalalapitan ko pag may problema ako. Ikaw yung naiiyakan ko, pag napakaoa or drama ko. Sabi mo nga, parehas lang tayo. Haha, i love you bestfriend. Godbless!"
