"Okay, I'm sorry and you know I am but I really need your help, kid." Peter pleaded.
"Fine!" Derek sighed, "But only to get you and the fairies off my back."
"Thank you!" Peter grinned ear to ear, "tell me how it goes when you're done."
Derek scowled at him getting off the couch and walking out the loft once again. He took the steps down to the parking lot his leather coat on his shoulders. Derek stuffed his hands in his jean pockets chewing on his lips out of habit.
"Why can't I catch a break." He muttered to himself.

Derek stood in front of the fairies who looked unimpressed. He suddenly felt very self-conscious in front of them and their judgemental glares. But he held his shoulders high and kept his face straight not showing a tad bit of emotion. The leader a male fairy about Derek's height stood in front of him his arms over his chest.
The leader had light pink hair that seemed velvety soft, his cheeks bones sharp. All the fairies were extremely pale almost sickly, yet their eyes were bright with life, love, emotion, freedom. Derek envied them in a way for not losing what he had, but then again it wasn't their fault. The leader jut out his bottom lip looking Derek up and down, sizing him up Derek assumed.
"What brings you here..Mutt?" The leader's voice was soft yet sarcastic. It pissed Derek off.
"I've come to bargain with you." Derek spoke confidently surprising the leader.
"Anything you have to offer us is most likely useless." The leader shooed him away.
"I'll bargain anything for the freedom of one of my betas." Derek lied, "I heard you were after him."
"Is your beta, the forty year old wolf who has no respect for his elders." The fairy looked to be in his early twenties but Derek knew he had to be over five hundred years old.
"That'd be him." Derek sighed.
"Well the only thing you can bargain for him is him himself." The leader gave Derek a flat look.
"That makes no sense, I have a book that may come to your use if you'd let me take you to it." Derek countered.
"Trust a wolf..now you are the one who is not making sense, young one." The leader patted Derek's head as if he was a child.
Derek wanted to so badly slap the fairy's hand away but he only sighed fixing his hair and glaring at the beautiful creature. The fairy gave him a mischievous smile that Derek wasn't too fond of.
"The book is called Silver RavenWolf's Book of spells." Derek spoke catching half of all the fairies attention. He knew that would reel them in.
"Go on." The leader looked at Derek seeing if he was lying or not.
"It's in my families vault and it's all yours if you free Peter from being part of your ritual." Derek felt as if he had the upper hand now.
"Give me a minute." The leader straightened his back and walked away from Derek and to what Derek assumed was the fairy council.
The leader returned with a grimace on his face, his cheeks the same color as his hair. Derek felt smug about his victory, even if they hadn't announced it he knew he had already won. The leader fairy sighed giving Derek a perfect glare.
"Take me to the vault." He muttered defeated.
"We'll take my car." Derek started walking to his parked Camero.
"So tell me, baby wolf, how far is the vault." Derek glared at the stupid pet name but said nothing.
"It's at Beacon Hills High school, we'll be there shortly." Derek got into the Camero and soon after the leader did also.
