Chapter 2: Sand in my butt

APOV

Her fists were pounding on my shoulders repeatedly as she sobbed on my chest. I hugged her as I wiped my cheeks. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. I kept on saying 'I'm sorry' over and over again. I kissed her forehead as she was stopping to cry. I wiped my cheeks again as she looked up at me.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking, I love you and I would never make you seem like the bad guy. I love you so much." I said as she just looked at me with her red teary eyes. She kissed me on my lips as I grabbed her hand and walked her to the passengers seat door. I opened it for her and she got in. I went to the driver's side and got in.

I texted Danny that tell everyone that everything is okay and that Stevie and I were gonna go. He told me to be safe. I grabbed Stevie's hand and kissed the back of it. She buckled her seat belt as I buckled mine. I started the car and drove to a beach. I didn't wanna go home, I wanted to be somewhere with Stevie.

Once we arrived at the beach, I looked over at Stevie on the passengers seat to see that she was already asleep. I went out the car and to the back to open it and I also move the back seat forward so there was more room. I had two blankets in my car for some reason and so I placed one of them on the inside of the car. I went to the passengers seat again and opened the door. I carried Stevie, bridal style, to the back of the car. I laid next to her as I covered her in the other blanket. She looked amazing even when she's sleeping. I played with her hair and traced little heart marks on her hand and arm.

God, I am so in love.

SPOV

I woke up with my head continuously pounding from last night. All I could remember was fighting with Ally. I opened my eyes and rubbed them. I felt weight on my waist and so I looked down and saw Ally's arm around my waist. I looked at her and she was just staring at her hand that was making little circles on my arm. She was awake.

"What time is it?" I asked as she looked startled.

"You're already awake?" She asked as she got her phone and looked at it.

"6:12 AM. I haven't slept yet, I figured I should stay awake to keep you safe." She said as I felt my heart flutter. I held her hand as she looked at my eyes with her tired eyes and dark circles around them. She still looked beautiful though. I smiled at her and she smiled back.
"Besides, I wanted to watch the sunrise too." She continued as we sat on the edge of the car. She put her right arm around me as I leaned my head on her shoulder. We watched the sunrise. It was gorgeous.

"It's so beautiful." Ally said as I looked at her while she was still staring at the sun rise.

"Not as beautiful as you." I said as I kissed her cheek and placed my head on her shoulder again.

We stayed like that for about an hour l until I heard Ally's stomach growl.

"You wanna get Starbucks?" I asked as she smiled to the idea of it.

"There's a Starbucks one block away from here. We can just walk there. I wanna go back here and just sit and talk with you." She said as I smiled. She grabbed her wallet and locked the car.

APOV

We walked hand in hand to Starbucks. On the walk over there, there was a lot of people who were saying hi to us. Two groups of teenagers even asked us to take a picture with them. Of course we said yes even though I actually looked like shit. Stevie on the other hand was just flawless still.

When we arrived at Starbucks, I got in line as Stevie headed to sit by the table that was closest to the exit.

"Hi, can I get a grande Iced Chai, a grande Caramel Macchiato and two bagels with cream cheese?" I said as the cash registers eyes widened when she saw me. I did not know her at all.

"Is that all?" She said with a flirty tone. Is she flirting with me? What the hell.

"Yes." I said as I smiled awkwardly.

"What's your name?" She asked as I wanted to tell her a fake name but maybe she knew me and so I didn't wanna lie.

"Ally." I blurted out of nowhere as she smiled and bit her lip.

I paid for it and went to where I'm gonna pick up our order.

"Iced Chai, Caramel Macchiato, and two bagels for Ally!" A guy yelled as I got my order. I walked to Stevie and handed her drink to her.  We walked out and to the beach, where I parked my car, again.

Once we arrived there I opened the back of my car as I heard Stevie call me. I walked towards her in the passengers seat.

"What?" I asked as she faced her drink towards me. There was something written on her drink and so I read it out loud.

"You're cute, call me." I read as I bursted into laughter. She stared at me with a straight face.

"She even wrote her phone number and name." Stevie said as I was still laughing. I went to the back and placed the blanket on the sand. I then called Stevie so we could sit there. There wasn't a lot of people at the beach and it wasn't that sunny either.

I placed my arm around Stevie as she leaned into my shoulder.

"She was cute too, you know." I said as Stevie removed her head on my shoulder and stared at me.

"Excuse me?" She said as I smiled at her.

"But she isn't perfect like my girlfriend." I said as she smiled and kissed me gently. She pulled away and just stared at my eyes. Her angelic smile was hypnotic. She then laid on the blanket. I figured I should climb on top of her and kiss her and so I did.

I kissed her gently first and then I  slipped my tongue to make it deeper, but she wouldn't allow it. Instead she pulled away from the kiss. I got worried.

"What's wrong?" I said as she and I sat up.

"There's sand in my butt." She said as I laughed and kissed her again.
