After what felt like hours, the tears finally stopped as I sense someone coming in my direction. I know the presence coming towards me so I just stay where I am. Suddenly I got the urge to sing. So I do.

I take a deep breath then open my eyes.

"You can come out now. Inuyasha."

"How did you know I was here?"

"I could sense you. Also, I could smell you."

"I forgot about that. I came to see if you're ok?"

I look down at the half-demon below me. I jump down and stand in front of him. I look at him in the eyes. My heart skips a beat at how much care I can see in his eyes.

"Yeah. I'm ok now. Thank you Inuyasha. It's nice to know that someone cares." I hug him and after a second I feel his arms wrap around me.

"I'll always care." I hear him breathe out under his breath.

I hug him tighter for a moment then let go. I look down at the ground then back up.

"You have an amazing voice. Why have we never heard you sing before?"

"We should head back now. It's getting late."

"You're trying to dodge my question."

"So? Maybe I don't wanna answer it."

"Please Skyler. Just answer my damn question."

"I don't like my voice plus I haven't sung out loud to anyone since......"

"Since that day?"

I nod my head yes. Suddenly I am pulled into a warm hug. My eyes open wide in surprise, being caught off guard by the sudden hug from the hanyou.

"We should head back now. It's pretty late now." He says after we pull away. I nod my head in agreement and we head back to the village.

We walk into the hut and Inuyasha and i walk to our sleeping spots. Everyone else is actually asleep. 'Damn. How long had I been crying?'
I curl up into my blanket and then soon taken into the world of sleep.

~~~ Next Morning~~~

The sunlight shines through the the small cracks in the hut, hitting my face with the warming rays. My eyes slowly flutter open to find everyone but Itachi, Hidan, and Inuyasha asleep. I stretch then sit up with a yawn, turning to look at the three men.

"About fucking time Sleeping Beauty." Hidan says with a chuckle.

I glare at him then I hear Itachi start to speak.

"Let's get to why we have come here, shall we? Skyler, we have some bad news for you."

"What is it?"

"But first, I must give you this." He says reaching into his cloak and handing me a package with a note.

"Itachi. What is going on?" I ask completely confused.

"Skyler............ Sasori is dead."
