Lindsay's P.O.V

"And Erin, don't forget to take your medicine twice every day and-"

"Yeah... Yeah I know..." I sigh and roll my eyes. The doctors are just way too peppy for me.

"Okay... You're released, you're allowed to go any time you'd like."

"Look, Erin, if you don't feel up to leaving today I can call Voight-"

"I want to go." I interrupt Burgess and walk out of the hospital.

"Lindsay, wait!" I hear Burgess yelling and stop, turning around.
"Lindsay, are you sure that you're ready for this?" I nod.

"Yes, Kim, I'm fine, trust me. I've got my medicine, I'm going to be fine." She nods.

"Now, where's the kid?" A horrified expression spreads across her face.

"I thought she was with you..."

I stand there, terrified, but then sprint back into the hospital. I was about to call for her when I notice, I don't know her name.

I curse under my breath continue looking for her.

"Ms. Lindsay!" I quickly turn around and there she is, standing right behind me.

"I-I'm sorry, I just, I didn't know you guys went outside-"

I take her into my arms, engulfing her in a hug.

"I thought someone had you," I say and kiss her head.

"I'm sorry Ms. Lindsay..." I shake my head.

"No... I'm sorry for leaving you..." I release her and take her hand.
"Let's go..." She nods and follows me to the car.

"Burgess, she's right here."

"Oh, Thank God..." She says.

"Can we just get going?" I ask and she nods.

"Yeah, let's go." We get in the car and I take my usual spot In the back seat, next to the kid.

"So, you know..." I start. "We still don't know your name." She nods.

"Yeah, I know..."

"You still don't remember?" I ask and she shakes her head.

"No. I still don't remember anything." I nod and try to wrap my head around the situation. What am I suppose to do with this kid when we get back to the precinct? I guess I'll just have to figure something out...

We stay in the car for maybe 3 hours before we all get restless and agree that it's time to get out and take a break. We stop at a Walmart because it's the only place around.

We walk around and really don't buy anything we just wanted to get out. When we get up to the front, a lady at the register grabs my jacket.

"Lady what's your problem!" She drags me over to the wall and the kid follows, limping behind us. She points at a poster on the wall and then the kid.

"Oh my gosh..." I say, and look to the kid. "That's you..."
