Revelation Revolutions 2: A Fenced Primacy

A drop in the ocean. 2x04

Arianna hugged both Pheobe and Ezekiel before they walked out the gate. Carrying two spears, 2 water bottles, and two satchels. They smiled as they walked along the empty road. Into town.

Arianna smiled as she shut the gate. Locking the chains together and then walked away. Her smile slowly started to fade away as she sat down by the unconscious Don. He groaned a little as he rolled over in his sleep.

Arianna sighs: if you two kids were be fine.

Ezekiel looked down at the leaves on the pavement street below him. He was curious but afraid of the questions dwelling in his mind. Pheobe knew something was wrong since they walked 6 blocks in total silence. Pheobe lightly leaned over and nudged the teen.

Pheobe: heeeyyyy... You alright zeke?

Ezekiel: yea. Im fine. Just still being awkward with this whole situation. I mean. Im not the only one who thinks its weird to kill dead people, right?

Pheobe: well im pretty sure that the fact that they were dead cancels out the factor of killing. Its like stabbing a water balloon. You wanna make it pop.

Ezekiel: that analogy doesnt really work all that well... I dont see that working for animals or even... Living people.

Pheobe: sure it does. Just gotta... Make them pop. Into alot of blood.

Ezekiel sighs and picks up his pace of walking. Pheobe tries to keep up with the tall teen. The two of them finally reach the police station and stop. Looking at the building strangely.

Pheobe: Hey Zeke. Think theres some guns in here?

Ezekiel: its a police station. What on earth do you think? A better question is if its open.

Pheobe, without thinking, decided to slam her entire weight directly into the door. Instead of the door opening on hand. It budged. As if there was a weight if equal force on the other side.

Pheobe: Ugh! What the frick man. Theres something blocking the door.

Ezekiel sighed and stepped up to the door. He started to push against it with Pheobe. The door budged and budged until it eventually pushed open. Giving way like that caused the two to fall down and land in two dead corpses of police on the ground.

Ezekiel freaked out and started to panic as he scrambled to get away and to his feet. Pheobe just sighed and sat up. She immediately started to search the corpses and sure enough. Found two glocks in their holisters. She smiled like a child on christmas and gave one to Ezekiel. The teen.... Was hesitant and slowly took the gun. Looking at it weirdly as he inspected it.

Pheobe quickly raided the bodies for all the bullets and then stepped outside of the building. Clossing the door behind her and Ezekiel. She started to walk towards the intersection like nothing happened. While Ezekiel was left there. Confused by the whole exchange but tried not to focus on it and walk on.

Pheobe: Come on Zekey! We are going shopping and the store is this way! South my dear boy!

Pheobe pointed off towards the highway and started to walk away when Ezekiel was close enough. Ezekiel did not enjoy being out around this spot and in the open. Especially with derranged people around. Pheobe ignored the signs as she walked.

The two eventually crossed the railroad tracks. Then started to travel across a large green feild. Full of uncut weeds and grass. It had bodies that were starting to be feasted on by plant life. Pheobe was the first to reach the old grocery store. The same that Arianna had been too.

Out front of the store was a mass collection of bodies and blood. Ezekiel stumbled upon the scene and immediately wished he didnt. Turning around and gagging from the smell and the sight. Pheobe raised a spear in defense and looked around. She whistled into the building to check for any other beasts.

There were none. When Pheobe realized this, she set down her spear and walked over to a corpse. She lifted it up by its shirt collar and shoved the tip of her spear into the throat of the beast. Blood spewed out and onto her hands. But the body was now propped up on the spear.

Pheobe smiled and stepped to Ezekiel. She gently put an arm around him and apun him around. He gasped at the sight of the beastly man with a spear through his neck standing. Pheobe then gave Ezekiel a spear and nudged him towards the homemade fighting dummy.

Ezekiel stared at Pheobe like she was crazy but she just smiled and looks at him to try stabbing the beast. Ezekiel just stood confused and slowly reached out. Poking the chest gently with the spear. Pheobe sighed and moved her hands to show how Ezekiel should be spearing the beast in the intestines.

Ezekiel just stared at pheobe and handed the spear back. Unable to go through with the action. Pheobe looked up at Ezekiel with a concerned and defeated look.

Pheobe shook her head and walked inside the store. She grabbed a shopping cart and started to walk throughout the abandoned store. Ezekiel stayed outside and took watch. Looking around the empty area that once had so many vehicals passing through. Everything was so peaceful.

There was a distinct rumbling sound of a pickup driving quickly towards the grocery store. Going by the highway. Ezekiel shrugged it off as it being Joseph and Bear. That was until bullets started to fire around Ezekiel.

Causing the teen to fall down to the ground. Landing behind a propped up laying corpse. That corpse ended up taking all of the bullets that were shot at the ground. Saving Ezekiel from ultimate death.

Ezekiel arose from the ground in a rapid flash. The instant the sound of the pickup was gone. Pheobe was still inside of the building. She was rushing to stockpile on cans while rushing outside.

Ezekiel didnt care. He was scared and wanted to escape the hell he had been delivered to. Wanting to see him mom again. Wanting to see his few friends before. So he took of running towards his house. Making it across the highway and down 2 blocks before Pheobe could even catch him. None the less see him.

Ezekiel kept running...and running. Until he finally came to his block. And took a look at his wonderful home...
