Chapter 8 - Your Parents

"Mommy! Let's go! It's going to start raining!" The little girl said as she grabbed her mother's hand.

"Rain? But it was so beautiful outside." Atsuko said. When she looked at the sky, it was all dark. Outside started to get very windy.

What the hell is going on?

"Let's go. We still have some shopping to do, don't we?" The woman said as she started to walk a little faster.

How did they find out I was on this island? That good for nothing bastard... He couldn't, or could he?

"Damn..."

"Huh? What's wrong, mommy?" The girl asked.

Her mother kneeled in front of her daughter.

"Nothing honey. There is nothing you should worry about."

The little girl was confused. What did that obaasan tell her mother?

"Let's go." The woman said as she walked towards the nearest shop.

The next day, the little girl was playing outside when all the sudden, a big ship was starting from the vast sea.

The little girl ran inside to tell her mother about her discovery.

"Mommy, mommy! There is a big ship coming towards this island!"

The woman only took a deep breath.

"Go play outside, honey."

"Okay!" The little girl obeyed.

The girl walked towards the nearest field.

She started to pick up some flowers and made a bouquet out of them.

"Mommy is going to be so happy when I bring these flowers to her!" The little girl said with excitement.

Back at home, her mother started to cook something for her daughter and herself when she noticed that the front door was opened.

"Huh? She forgot to close it? That's unusual."

When she turned around, she was greeted by the very man that made her a mother.

"You..." She said as she grabbed the knife on the counter.

"So here you were hiding."

Her daughter ran towards home, carring the bouquet of flowers in her hands, carefully, so that she won't drop it.

When she opened the door, there was no sign of her mother.

"Huh?"

Usually, after she would play outside, she would be greeted by her mother's food. But not today...

"Mommy?" The little girl walked in the kitchen and then she screamed.

Her mother was lying helpless on the ground, dead.

The girl dropped her bouquet of flowers and ran towards her mother's body.

The bouquet fell on the pool of her mother's blood.

"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy wake up! Mommy!" The little girl was crying while shaking her mother's corpse.

"She's gone..." A deep voice said.

The little girl turned around and saw a tall man. She recognized the symbol on his clothes. He was a marine.

"What happened to mommy?"

"Like I've said it before, your mother's gone. Tell me girl, what's your name?"

The little girl took a shakily breath.

"M-my name is (name)"

"Oh? Is it? I'm afraid you won't see your mother any sooner."

"W-why!" The little girl started to cry once again.

"She is dead, child. She's been killed."

"By who?"

"Me."

The girl's eyes widen in fear.

"W-why! Why did you killed mommy!"

"You will understand once you're older, my child."

"Who are you!"

"I'm your father." (Lol Star Wars)

"No! Mommy never told me I had a daddy!"

The man got closer to her.

"My name is Akainu. When you're older search for me. You'll understand why your mother was killed. If not, just live without knowing the truth."

Ace's eyes widen at your words.

"W-wha-" Ace couldn't even finish what he was abiut to say.

"Yeah... I know."

"Y-your father has a big name." Ace chuckled.

"You're the one to talk." You laughed.

"Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me your father's name. I know you don't want people to know." Ace said.

You smiled at him.

"Well, I don't think he is that big of a deal. After all, your father is he freaking Pirate King."

"N-not a big of a deal?! (Name), he is the freaking Fleet Admiral!"

Your eyes widen.

"Wait what?"

"You didn't knew?!"

You rubbed the back of your neck as you started to laugh awkwardly.

"Uhh, no?"

"How could you not know? And you want to face him! Is that a joke?!"

"Damn! I just realized! If I'm a pirate then that means he will..."

Ace face palmed. You really were very slow.
