"Hey Nate, when is your brother coming back?" Max asked.

"I don't know, maybe tomorrow, next week, or next month." he shrugged.

"Oh, alright." Max said as he stood up, "I'm sorry but I have to go back now. I forgot that I still have to work on some papers that my father left me with, I'm really sorry." he said, scratching his head.

"Do you need any help?" I asked.

"No, I'll manage." he smiled. "Thank you though."

"Alright, just give me a call if you need anything." I said.

"Thank you, I will." he smiled, "I have to go now, bye!" he waved, as he jogged towards his house.

"No goodbye for me?" Nate pouted, which made me laugh.

"Good bye, Nate." Max chuckled, "And see you around!"

"See you!" Nate shouted back and then he turned around to face me.

"Umm.. I have to go, too." I pointed to my house.

"Alright then. Good night and see you around, princess." he said as he tapped my head.

"Night and see you around.." I replied, "and don't call me that." I glared.

"Sure thing, princess." he said chuckling as he head towards the McKnight residence which is found between the Parker's, and Snow's.

"Whatever." I smiled.

"Hey sis! How was yesterday?" Alyson asked cheerfully.

"It was great. I really had fun catching up and talking to him." I replied.

"You're welcome." she said happily as she shoved a spoonful of macaroni in her mouth.

"Thank you." I chuckled.

I sat down, and clasp my hands together. Yay dinner! Time to dig in!

"Wow. You seriously eat like.. you're not a girl." Alyson said, watching me as I eat. "You know that, right?"

"I can't help it." I shrugged, "Do I look disgusting or unbearable?" I asked, a little flustered.

"No, but it's not normal?" she laughed.

"Very funny." I said, dabbing my mouth with a napkin.

"Are you excited for next week?" she asked, her eyes glistening with excitement.

"Next week?" I asked.

"School!" she rolled her eyes.

"Yes and no." I replied. "But I am kind of nervous."

"Don't worry! I know people." she winked.

"That sounds sketchy, so no thanks." I chuckled. "I can manage."

"Funny." she said, "By the way, will you try out for any sports? Or cheerleading?" she asked.

"It's not really my thing." I shrugged, "Why? Will you?" I asked.

"Obviously! I already have a routine ready for the audition!" she grinned excitedly, clasping her hands.

"Wow, I never knew you were that interested with cheerleading." I said, a little surprise.
