On my drive home I realized it was already 6 o'clock. I guess I could just make a quick and simple dinner. I live alone because my parents still live back home in Ohio. I moved here because I couldn't take it with them anymore and it's always been a dream to live here. I live in an actual house because my parents are quite wealthy and had given me some money.
Once I unlock the door I head up to my room to change. I put on a pair of sweatpants and an old t-shirt. My brown hair has been down all day so I brush it and quickly braid it.
I walked down to the kitchen and tried to think of what to make. After a few minutes of debating I decide to make mac 'n cheese.
When the mac 'n cheese was done I poured myself a glass of water and sat down on the couch. After scrolling through the channels on the tv, I pick That 70's Show.
There must have been a That's 70's Show marathon on or something because it was already 11:30. So I got up, put my dishes in the dishwasher and went upstairs to get ready for bed.
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off at 9:00.
"Ugh." I moaned and rolled out of bed.
I got a quick shower and brushed my teeth before getting dressed.
On my way out the door I grabbed an apple to eat on my way to work.
The shop opens at 10 o'clock and I'm usually the one to open up. My boss, Rick, is never really there but he'll stop by to check up on us sometimes.
Once I turn on the lights and make sure everything looks nice I turn on the open sign. Olivia starts at 12 everyday so I'm alone for the first two hours.
At about quarter after eleven a customer finally came in. I didn't look up at first but when I did I recognized the boy who was looking at some of the CDs. Niall.
"Hey, you again." I say teasing
"Hi Jessie." Niall said while turning around and walking towards the counter.
"So did you find something else you wanted to buy?"
"No, I uh came by to talk to you." He says making me blush slightly.
"Oh." Is all I say because I'm not really sure what I should say.
"I mean if you're not okay with me here I'll leave." He rushed his words while starting towards the door. And I could tell he felt embarrassed.
"No Niall!" I call after him causing him to turn around. "I'm perfectly fine with you being here." I say. He doesn't reply, instead he gives me a huge smile and returns to the counter.
Niall started to talk but I wasn't listening because I was staring into his beautiful eyes. I didn't see his eyes yesterday since he had sunglasses on. His eyes were an amazing color of blue. Man I would love to have blue eyes, but I'm stuck with my boring brown ones.
"Jessie." Niall said snapping me back into reality.
"What oh sorry." I said blinking and shaking my head.
"Nothing." He said a little disappointed that I wasn't listening.
"No, tell me." I told him while making a pouty face.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere with sometime?" He asked me
In my head I was screaming yes but I replied, "On like a date?"
"Yeah, if you want to." He looked down
"Of course I would love to." I say making him look up at me with a huge smile on his face.
Suddenly the door opened and Olivia walked in the shop. I looked at the clock and thought how quickly the time went by.
"Um I better get going, I'll talk to you later." Niall said while walking past Olivia and out the door.
"Tell me now." Oliva ordered me while waking to her seat and smiling at me.
