Death Eaters Always Come at the Worst Times

I was stupid and I wasn't about to lose her. I put my hand deeper into my pocket and fished out the galleon, a piece of licorice, and a Weasly Wizard Weezes dark navigator. The dark navigator, I remembered, was a device where you say a password that was on the package, and the whole room building you are in will see black smoke except the speaker will see everything normal. Bellatrix picked up the dark navigator.

"What's this." she demanded.

What was that password again?

"A rock" I said.

"It is not bloody well a rock and we both know it." she snarled.

"Moonlight in Paris." I said.

The death eaters had a look of confusion written all over their faces as they ran around trying to figure out what is going on. I grabbed Ginny who looked as if she was passed out. I ran out of the room and sprinted across the grounds to the castle gates where I appariated back to Mum and Dad's place.

Hermione POV (I know I change POV a lot in this chapter,but oh well)

Harry and Ginny left a few hours ago and Ron and I also agreed to have a day to ourselves as well. We were sitting on the back porch swinging bench just talking for hours. It turned to five o' clock and Harry and Ginny weren't back yet. All of the sudden we hear a cry for help in the front yard. We jumped up and sprinted through the house to get to the front yard. Harry is there with Ginny in his arms. She looked as if she was passed out. I ran to her side and checked her pulse. I sighed with relief.

"She's alive." I said.

Ron looked pale and wouldn't leave her side to fetch Lilly and James. I ran back inside as fast as I could. I ran upstairs and knocked on the only room that I knew could be James and Lilly's. Lilly opened the door and turned pale when she saw my pleading face.

"Ginny, she's passed out. I don't know what's wrong with her." I said breathlessly.

Lilly rushed downstairs and ran out onto the lawn. I knelt next to her and held her hand. I noticed that there was a ring on her finger, an engagement ring. I looked up at Harry in shock, and I felt even more for him now. His fiance was dying and there was nothing he was able to do about it. Lilly took her inside and put her on her bed. She shooed the rest of us out of the room. We made our way down to the living room where Neville and Luna stood, just coming home from their outing. They saw all of our grim faces and saw that Ginny was missing.

"Ginny?" said Luna quietly.

"She's okay except that she's passed out." I muttered to her.

Luna started crying and Neville stood there comforting her. We all sat down in silence. I comforted Ron and Neville and Luna comforted each other. Harry sat alone staring into nothingness. When Ron finally got over the shock, he said

"Why didn't you protect her?" he said in a low, dangerous voice to Harry.

"You promised me. YOU PROMISED ME YOU WOULD NEVER HURT HER!" Ron yelled.

Harry took it all in and said

"I tried to protect her-"

"IF YOU ACTUALLY TRIED SHE WOULD BE OKAY! YOU WERE THE OWNER OF THE ELDER WAND, THE BOY WHO LIVED, THE BOY WHO I THOUGHT WAS MY BEST FRIEND! I THOUGHT IT'S OKAY RON, SHE COULD BE IN WORSE HANDS BUT APPARENTLY SHE CAN'T" He roared.

Harry's temper seemed to cut short.

"HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO WATCH HER GETTING TORTURED! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW! SHE, SHE- It's all my fault." he whispered.

"You are no longer allowed to see my sister anymore. You are not allowed near anyone in my family EVER AGAIN!" Ron stormed into the kitchen.

"He really doesn't mean it Harry. He's just upset that this happened at all." I said. Harry nodded and I followed my boyfriend into the kitchen.

Harry POV

Hermione followed Ron into the kitchen, while I felt a little awkward with Neville and Luna sitting there. I stood up to go see if Ginny was okay, when Neville was the one who spoke.

"It will be okay Harry, in the end."

I nodded sullenly and made my way up the stairs. I knocked on Ginny's room as silently as I could and Mum opened the door.

"Harry, I was expecting you to come." she said.

I sat down on a chair next to Ginny's bed. Mum worked for a while, checking her temperature and giving her different herbs. When she was satisfied, she pulled up a chair and sat next to me. She put her arm around my shoulder and said,

"I know it hurts. James and I once got in this situation when we were first dating. He decided that it would be funny to put a hippogriff in the staff room and got a knocked out on the impact from the hooves. I was by his side at the hospital wing for days before he woke up." she said.

"And I know you are engaged to her." I looked up in shock when she smiled.

"One ring to rule them all. I am happy for you, but I would never want to be in this situation. I wont tell your father either... yet." Mum said.

"Thank-you." I said hoarsly.

Mum exited the room while I sat at her side, holding her hand. After a while she stirred and mummered

"Harry."

"Yes, love?"

"Did you whup Bellatrix's butt."

I grinned. Trust Fred and George to rub off on her.

"No, but she will most likly be put in Azkaban because I used a certain dark navigator and called the order to that spot."

"That's good." she said faintly.

"GINNY!" Ron said bursting into the room.

"Hey Ron." she croaked.

Ron stopped short when he saw me.

"Get.Out"

I left the room, and went in search for the trio that wasn't left behind in that room.
