A Runaway Prisoner (Hisoka X Reader)

Chapter 18

She blinked beside him and was about to kick him again. But he got her left leg and used bungee gum to keep it sticking on his hand.

He hit it with his knee then he punched her face, undoing the bunged gum at the same time. It made her fall to the ground, harder than normal.

"Critical and down!! Plus three points!! 7-6!!!" "Fast game! They're just points away. Who's going to win?"

Just four more points, he thought making him grin. He charged to (Y/n) attempting to punch her but she blinked away.

Beat Hisoka... Beat Hisoka... she heard as she keep on dodging his attacks.

"Don't you want to attack me? You only got three points left." He chuckled. "Nah! Just come at me." She winked.

Hisoka stopped moving and it caught her attention. She raised her brow. He just smiled and made his finger crack.

"Gyo." She whispered. She saw two pink string like things from his hands. One is attach to her left arm and the other was on her left leg. "Crud." She uttered.

Hisoka then swayed his arms to his back. Making her fly to him. He caught her in his arms before she could fall.

She flinched despite the fact that her heart is beating fast. It's not the right time to blush. We're in the middle of a fight, she thought.

"I forgot to tell you that my nen possess the properties of rubber and gum." He grinned. "I'm the only one who can attach and detach it."

He hesitantly hit her back with his knee as he undo bungee gum. "Another hit on the back!!!" Cocco shouted as she fell to the ground.

"Clean hit! Plus two points!! 7-8!!!"
"Woah!? Looks like Hisoka is on the lead!"

Just two more points, Hisoka thought. He charged on (Y/n) with a big grin, knowing that another kick on the gut will make him win. (A/N: Wow, it actually rhymed XD)

(Y/n) felt flattered as she feels his determination of winning. For the first time, her pride wasn't hurt for being beat up. She actually enjoys it.

Beat Hisoka... she chuckled as she heard it again. Illumi must've stabbed a needle on me, she thought. She blinked before Hisoka could kick her.

But why?

She blinked behind him and blinked on his side. She kneeled down and slid her right leg to trip him but he jumped and pointed a finger at her.

She dodged its direction and blinked away. He clapped at her, irritated but at the same time amused. "Uh uh. No more bungee gum." She said in a sassy way. "No one has ever dodged that." He frowned.

She blinked and kicked his left leg and blinked back. "Clean hit! Plus one point!! 8-8!!"

"They're points are now even!! They're just two points away from the goal. Who's going to win!?"

Hisoka was overwhelmed by the fact that they're even. (Y/n) charged to him and continuously attacked him with punches yet he kept on dodging.

"This is growing intense!!!" Cocco shouted, making the audiences cheer more louder and wilder.

"Hisoka." She called out. He just hummed in response. "If you're going to win, what are you gonna do to me?" She asked. The question was so unexpected that he got a punch on his face.

But he kept dodging the other attacks. "That'd be a secret." He smirked. "I don't like secrets." She pouted. "You'd have to deal with that."

"Guess I'll have to go with Illumi after this." She replied, hitting a nerve. "I won't let that happen~" he grinned.

She was amused of his reaction. Though his eyes show ferocity. "Hah." She chuckled. She stopped moving on purpose with a smirk.

He kicked her waist and hit her back with his knee, lifting her in the air. He hit her stomach with his elbow making her draw blood from her mouth.

Illumi stood up uncontrollably, his eyes were wide open as he gasped. Everyone was silent and shocked at the sudden turn of events.

Hisoka had an unreadable emotion on his face as he looked down to (Y/n)'s unconscious and battered body.

"L-looks like (Y/n) isn't going to wake up." Cocco stuttered. "Hisoka is the winner!" The crowd cheered as soon as it was declared, except for Illumi and her fans.

Hisoka left frowning. I should feel glorious yet... I feel disappointed and guilty.
