I thought to myself "I promise, Larry."

"And I understand every single thing you say, with or without knights and armours"

*End Of Flashbacks*

For the 4230th time in my life, I found it completely reasonable for me to keep my distance from LOVE.

***

"This night is sparkling, don't you let it go... I'm wonderstruck, blushing all the way home..." My phone rang. Yes, that was the cheesy Enchanted by Taylor Swift. And yes, that was my own ringtone for Logan.

Jesus hold this hormonal, maniac girl.

"H-Hello" Stuttering, really Charlotte, really?

"Hey Lots, it's Logan" Yes the ringtone gave it away, thank you very much.

"Oh hi! Didn't expect you to call" Liar!

"Erm... So, are you free?"

"Yes, why?"

"Oh, I just want to, I don't know, talk? Can you come over my place, I'm home alone and you have already known how my boredom could result in several...things" I could feel him winking on the other side. It's true that Logan tended to do quite weird stuff when he's alone. Including giving his dog an Elvis haircut.

"Yeah sure! I'll be there in no time. See ya!"

"I'll be waiting." His last line sent a shiver down my spine. I hang up, shaking with excitement. As an attempt to put the creepy oh-we-both-wear-blue to a stop I chose a simple sundress, a baby blue denim jacket and then paired the outfit with my favorite ombre Converse. Hopping on my bike, I tried to recall the address Logan told me some days ago. It was right down the street, but I shouldn't keep him waiting.

It was less than 10 minutes until I stood in front of his door, hesitant to knock. I was shaking and my palms started to sweat. God knows how Logan can have such an influnce on me!

And I was ranting about my love-hate relationship with the word LOVE itself. Everything was literally slipping out of hands.

After a long conversation with my subconcious I finally raised my hand to knock. Turned out it was unnecesary, as I heard a loud "Yoohooo" from upstairs.

Logan, by his window, waving and smiling like the Sun, looking breath-taking.

Oh shut up Heart, it's rude to cut in when Mind is speaking.

"The door is not locked Charlotte!" He couldn't get any weirder. I mean, I locked every door, including my bathroom's, when I was alone.

I pushed it, opening to a very cosy looking living room and an extremely delicious-smelling kitchen. Macadamia cookie, I supposed.

"I can show you around later if you want to. But it's illegal for you to leave me upstairs, ALONE, another second" Logan's voice snapped me back.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" I said, rushing up the wooden stairs. Every once in a while I could see picture frames, but since he sounded quite impatient, I decided to mention them later.

But what was it that seemed so important?

Logan was waiting for me at his room's door, in a childlike Snoopy T-shirt and pants. I chuckled.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Nothing, just your excellent choice of clothings"

"Oh this?" He looked down to his clothes. "Snoopy is the new couture." That cute wink again! Well-played, Logan.

"The thing is, I"ve just rented a bunch of DVDs and I thought maybe you would like to watch them with me" He invited me here to watch some movies?

I said "Yes", though I wasn't really in favour of the idea. Logan is a total film geek, while I, on the other hand, is utterly ignorant. I could make a complete fool of myself!

"Perfect! Well, I got all the classics. Gone With The Wind, The Wizards of Oz... Which one?"

"Gone With The Wind, please"

He put the DVD into the player, hopped onto the bed and offered me a seat next to him.

His scent, everywhere, sniff, sniff.

Oh great Heart you did it again.

Turned out we weren't really watching the film. We talked a lot during it, maybe about the character, maybe about how we found them relatable, maybe about us. Every once in a while, Logan would give his opinion on the actors' performance, and seemed very passionate about it. He then asked me what my dream was, and I just shook my head saying I had no clue. But he was different. He was dead set on becoming an actor. He possessed an undying love for film-making, and he even experienced a bit of it when he was smaller! I listened to him attentively, it was so inspiring to hear someone talking about their dream like that.

The movie ended, and Logan's grandpa clock struck six. Dinner time.

I didn't want to go home, at all. I wanted to spend every second of my life just lying next to Logan, talking and laughing. So peacefully. But eventually I stood up and fixed my dress. I was heading towards the door and Logan pulled me back, standing still in shock in front of him, an envelope in his hand.

"There's something I want to tell you, Charlotte." Seriousness was written all over his face.

"Yes?"

"I'm leaving."
