Song for the Chapter: Alphabet Boy - Melanie Martinez
You gritted your teeth and clicked on the first persons name who you were going to try and talk to again first.
Oh you hated him with all your heart, but you had to try.
The phone rang for a long period of time, before being picked up. You couldn't hear anything but heavy breathing, but you could hear him grinning and taunting you through his deep breaths.
"Well well well, if it isn't [Your Full Name]. Finally decided to show up again, huh?" He spoke each word with relish, letting your name roll across his tongue as he savoured the moment.
Hell you wanted to kill him right then and there. If only you were Harry Potter and could send a spell down the phone.
You kept my calm demeanour, which was lost ages ago anyways, and closed your eyes, blocking any previous emotions you felt for him in the past.
"William Afton." You replied, quickly spitting out the words, not wanting to repeat that name.
There was a long pause. Conversations with him were always awkward, as if he was trying to hide a deep dark secret.
"William Afton? Never heard of him. You've got the wrong person honey."
That did it. Hearing that one name he had once branded you with caused your nostrils to flare. You opened your mouth to reply but you were cut off.
"It's David Miller... Now."
Of course. He must have changed his name after the others were furious at him. He ran away and hid like a coward. Then again, you had done the same thing, minus the name changing part.
"Seems like yesterday we were little kids before I broke you and f-"
You gritted my teeth and yelled a sentence at the phone, cutting him off before hanging it up. You didn't want to hear what he had done to you again.
The sentence you had yelled echoed back and forth in the room."I'm not a little kid now!"
