Ashley: She’s my comrade for life! Duuuuh! And oh I almost forgot! July 27th is the birthday, don’t forget classmates!
Ms. Jennifer: Wow! Such energetic introduction. . .
[Marami pang iba’t ibang estudyante ang nagpakilala sa harap ng klase, hanggang sa dumating ang time para si Kai naman ang magpakilala]
Kai: Uuuh. . . I-I’m, Kai. . Kai Hasegawa. . . Like Mike, my parents are working abroad. I’m a transferee student at this school. I’ll be 16 this coming January. . .
[Bumalik si Kai sa upuan niya ng walang imik, samantalang pinaguusapan na siya ng ilang mga estudyante mas lalo na ng mga babae]
Ms. Jennifer: O-okay. . . Now that we somehow know each other, let’s have an activity. I’ve noticed that there are exactly 10 new students and 20 old students. What a coincidence!
Ashley: Ooooh. . . An activity, that’s great! Right Alyson?
Alyson: Yuuuuh!
Ms. Jennifer: I want the old students to pick any transferee student. 2 old students per 1 new student, this means that one group must have 3 members. The task of the old students is to accompany their chosen transferee student for the rest of the day. The purpose of this activity is to help the new students to adjust in their new school. The old students are free to approach the transferees as long as you do it in a nice manner. But the first thing that you should do is to tour them around the school, so that they would familiar with the areas. Is everything clear now?

Ms. Jennifer: Okay, you may now form your respective groups!
[Naging maingay ang 3rd Year section B, mas lalo na sina Ashley at Alyson dahil sa pagpili ng magiging ka-miyembro nila]
Ashley: Hey Alyson! Let’s pick that one!
Alyson: No! I think we should pick that one! He’s so charming!
Ashley: No! We should get that one!
Alyson: Where?!
Ashley: [Pointing at Kai] Look there! At the third row! Sitting next to Cyrus!
Ms. Jennifer: [Nakatingin kina Ashley & Alyson] Class, class! Observe silence. . .
Ashley & Alyson: Sorry Ma’am. . .
[Tumayo si Cyrus at lumapit kay Kai]
Cyrus: Hey Kai! We can be groupmates.
Kai: Sure. . .
Cyrus: All we need now is one more member. . . Hmmmm. . .
[Tumingin-tingin si Cyrus sa paligid para maghanap, pero hindi niya napansin ang babaeng nasa likuran niya. Kai is sitting at the back of Cyrus. Kaya napatingin siya sa babaeng nasa likod nito]

Cyrus: [Sinusubukang makawala]: Y-you’re squ-eezing. . . M-me to death. . .
[Napatingin ang babae kay Kai at pinakawalan si Cyrus]
? ? ?: Hi! You must be his new friend. . . My name is Tiffany Leyran! How about you?
Cyrus: Didn’t you pay attention to the introductions earlier?
Tiffany: Nope. . . I was too busy looking at you!
Kai: My name is Kai. . . Kai Hasegawa. . .
Tiffany: It’s nice meeting you! By the way, I’m Cyrus’s girlfriend.
[Nakipagkamayan si Tiffany kay Kai]
Cyrus: [Nakaharap kay Tiffany] No you’re not. . .
Tiffany: Yes I am!
Ms. Jennifer: [Nakatitig kila Kai, Cyrus at Tiffany] Hey the three of you. You’ll be group 7 okay?
Cyrus: N-n. . .
Tiffany: Yes Ma’am! [Sabay yakap kay Cyrus]
Cyrus: Tiffany, you’re s-sqeezing me again. . . K-kai, help. . . me. . .
Tiffany: Oh don’t be so silly!
Kai [IT]: [Nakangiti] Watashi wa karera to issho ni tanoshī jikan o sugoshi sa reru to omou. [I think I would be having a great time with them]
Ms. Jennifer: I think that everybody has their own groups , so for now let’s talk about the rules and regulations of this school.
[Bago pa mabasa ni Ms. Jennifer ang hawak-hawak niyang papers, may biglang kumatok sa pinto, that suddenly caught her attention]
(WAN: Sa mga magtatanong kung bakit may pinto, kasi po air-conditioned yung classroom. Pasensya na, ngayon ko lang nasabi. TAO LANG! Hahahaha!)
[Biglang nagbulungan ang mga estudyante kung sino ‘tong kumakatok]
Ms. Jennifer: Please keep quiet class. . . Keep quiet. . .
[Binuksan ni Ms. Jennifer ang pintuan]
? ? ?: Uu-uhh. . . I-is this the 3rd year room, section B?
Ms. Jennifer: Yes, please do come in. . . I was informed about the two of you. . .
[Nagulat ang klase sa pagpasok nila. . .]
