Chapter 16: Life Is Good!

"Not funny."

"You know I love you."

"And I love you too." he sighed "What movie is it?"

"Thanks babe! It's called 'Stay Alive'. It's about a group of friends that find a game and when they play it, their characters are linked to them."

"What do you mean?"

"If they die in the game, they die in real life. In the same way too. A crazy ghosts bitch starts killing them."

"That doesn't sound to bad."

40 minutes into the movie and Laxus had his face stuffed into a blanket with only his eyes out. He got up from the couch.

"Where are you going?" I asked

"I have to use the bathroom."

"You want me to pause the mo-"

"No! No, that's okay. I'll be back in a second."

He walked down the hall. I left the movie running while I got some more popcorn. As I put some dill pickle seasoning on it, I felt Laxus' hands rap around my waist and he whispered in my ear:

"I love you so much."

"I love you too, so so much!"

"But, why?" he asks

"Laxus! Why do you do this? Why is it so hard for you to believe that I love you?" I ask, calmly

"Because you're so perfect! And I'm so fucked up!"

I slowly walked over to him and I placed my hands on his cheeks. I turned his head so his eyes met mine.

"Laxus. I love you so much! More then life. I don't care that you're fucked. I'm fucked up too!"

"So... You'll stay with me? Even though I'm like this? Even though I'm so pathetic?"

"It's fine! I'm pathetic too. But, if we stay together, we can grow stronger!"

He pulled me into a tight hug. When we pulled back, I looked into his eyes and I kissed him.

"Let's go finish the movie. It's almost over." I explained

"Okay."

I grab the popcorn and we go back into the living room. When we sat down there was about 30 minutes left of the movie. We sat down and I cuddled up to his side. 10 minutes into the movie and Laxus looks at me. When I look back at him, I see that his eyes flicker towards my lips. Then, he bends down and captures my lips with his. A few seconds later, the kiss became more passionate. Our lips movig in sync, I felt his toung touch my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I open my mouth a little and his toung sid in. Our toungs began to dance around each other, fighting for dominance. Laxus won. He slowly began to lay me down on the couch. After what seemed to be hours of making out and Laxus groping me, we separate for air.

"Wow." he says

I giggle and I look at the T.V. the movie was over and it was on the main meau screen.

"Sorry. We didn't finish the movie."

"Believe me, I had alot more fun making out with you." I explained with a smile

I got off the couch and I turned off the T.V. I looked at the time and it was only 8:16 pm. I looked outside to my backyard and I saw my pool. I smiled and I looked at Laxus.

"You wanna go swimmimg with me?" I ask

"What?"

"Do you wanna go swimmimg with me?"

"It's like 8:30 at night."

"So? Who cares. I'm going in with or without you." I walked towards the door to my backyard
I opened the door and walked out. I took my shirt off and my shorts. I threw them a side and I jumped in. I came up for air and I saw Laxus staring at me from the edge of the pool.

"Instead of just looking at me why don't you come in?"

"I don't have an extra pair of boxers."

"That's okay. You can just sleep naked.... With me..... In the same bed."

He looked at me, surprised. Then, he smiled. He took off his his shirt and his pants.

'Holy fuck! I never noticed how built he his. Does he have an 8 pack? DAAMMNNN!!'

I heard Laxus laugh.

"Like what you see?" he asks

"Yes!"

'Jesus Christ Jessie! Could you answer any faster?!' I thought to myself

"Well that's good because I'm all yours." he simply said with a smirk

He dove in the water and circled around me. When he came up his face was right in front of mine. I giggled and quickly kissed him.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you! Team Natsu and I are going on a mission tomorrow. You wanna come with?"

"I wish I could but, I have to help Ever at the restaurant tomorrow. With Bickslow sick and Freed taking care of him, there short on staff."

"Oh." I said, disappointed

"I'm sorry, baby. I'll go next time for sure, okay?"

"Okay."

He lightly touched the side of my face and said:

"I love you. No matter what. So, you better come back tomorrow!"

"Babe don't sweat it! This job is so fuckin easy."

"Promise?"

"I promise!"

After an hour of swimming, we got out. We went inside and I took a shower. Then, Laxus did. I was laying on my bed in a big white t-shirt. Laxus came out with only a towel around his waist. He got dressed into his damp boxers and climbed in next to me. He put his arm around my waist and I placed my head on his chest.

'Life is good.' was the last thing I thought before drifting off to sleep.
