7 - With Time We Get Closer

"Shut up," Dean said, glaring. Sam just walked out of the room laughing. Dean noticed he'd had his phone out the entire time but didn't dare follow him because wait a second, Sam really did seem to pass that off lightly...

Sam walked into his room, and sent the video to Gabriel. Well, Gabe was probably asleep by then, but he sent it anyway.

Dean however, immediately went and texted Cas.

ChevyImpala67: "Alright which one of your brothers did you tell about me?"

The reply didn't come until about 11pm at night.

AngelWithAShotgun: "Gabriel. But how did you know I told one of them?"

ChevyImpala67: "Because he's got to be talking to my little brother. Sammy just came in and said he was talking to his friend who said his brother knows me."

AngelWithAShotgun: "Huh. Okay. I guess Gabriel is friends with Sam then."

ChevyImpala67: "Can you find out how Gabriel and Sam are friends? Because Sam was just teasing me about writing fanfics and I need to get him back."

AngelWithAShotgun: "Of course. Because how dare he make fun of the fics."

ChevyImpala67: "I know right."

AngelWithAShotgun: "Also I read some more of your books, your writing is hilarious and adorable."

ChevyImpala67: "Heh thanks Cas. I'd say the same but your characters are too busy being dead to be adorable."

AngelWithAShotgun: "xD No argument there."

ChevyImpala67: "Oh have you started writing your book yet?"

AngelWithAShotgun: "Not yet, I'm thinking over the idea and gathering ideas for the storyline. I always do that first."

ChevyImpala67: "Yeah I never plan things. They seem to work out anyway :P"

AngelWithAShotgun: "So the fourth wall breaks aren't planned?"

ChevyImpala67: "Never, they just happen."

AngelWithAShotgun: "I'm honestly not surprised."

Dean kinda fell asleep accidentally after that.

A few weeks passed.

Dean and Cas gradually started to talk more and more. Cas was constantly asking for Dean's opinions on small ideas he was having for his story, and Dean in the meantime read all of Cas's books. And as much as Cas's writing style hurt, Dean loved it.

And he was kind of wondering if it was possible to fall in love with someone from the way they wrote...And Cas's sort of teasing yet sometimes clueless messages weren't helping him there.

He also hadn't heard anything else from Sam on the whole teasing about fanfictions thing. Which seemed a little strange really.

Cas didn't know feelings, but he did really enjoy talking to Dean all the time and couldn't help but smile whenever he got a message. He didn't notice this though.

Now, Sam and Gabe. Gabe continued his obviously flirting talking and still called Sam little moosey. And Sam had watched all of Gabe's youtube videos by now.

The two of them would talk all the time, and Gabe would take random selfies throughout the day with interesting things in the background, while Sam would send him photos of the world around him.
