"Try me," I said seething

The smile that appeared on his face never dropping, what the fuck? Is this guy really that psychotic? How far will I have to take this no,  How far am I willing to take this? I can rough him up but I'm not actually going to stab him, especially not now since he'll obviously derive pleasure from it. "RAVEN" Sage yelled from her seat at the bar, I whipped my head over to her bewildered look, fear so prominent in her eyes, quickly I turned my head back over to the man my neck started to hurt but I blacked out before I could do anything.

A beautiful magic flower flew down from the tree, the sloth God appeared out of nowhere, and the turnip kingdom was returned to its old beauty again

"Huh, what a weird story," I said to myself. I slowly sunk into the library's comfy chairs, breathing in the heavy scent of old book pages and mildew, I reluctantly picked myself up off the couch and began stacking the few books I read on top of each other. I should probably start heading back, I need to study for my exams coming up, spending all night couped up in the library although appealing isn't the smartest choice. I began lugging the books to their respective spots back on the shelves of the dark library.

"Almost don-" a loud crash broke my sentence, I creep behind the rows of tall bookshelves peaking through the gaps "what the fuck was that?"

I slowly creep my way in the direction of the sound trying to remain hidden behind the bookshelves as I do so. They always say curiosity killed the cat, and let me tell you I'm a big ol' pussy. I heard another loud crash coming from behind me, I let out a quiet yelp, I slowly reached down into my boot and grabbed the swiss army knife I always kept in there.

I knew this would come in handy, I whispered to myself.

Another crash, I sucked in a sharp breath of air.

Another, okay now this is just getting predictable.

I began spinning in a circle, swiss army knife pointed ahead of me trying to find the source of the sound

Soon I was surrounded, the sounds of books slamming on the floor were all around me at every angle, "why?" I asked out loud, I should probably ask why they're doing this to me but what came out of my mouth wasn't what I expected "if you want to kidnap me just do it why do you have to injure the books too?" I huffed, sighing in annoyance.

I heard a snicker from one of the people in the many isles of bookshelves, he slowly sauntered his cocky self out to the middle of the pathways and pulled out a syringe, and I being my smart self chucked a light book at his hand breaking the syringe as it hit the floor.

Did you think that was true, come on I'm no cliche I completely missed it, in fact, the book hardly made it out of the aisle I was in, but it was the thought that counts right? No, it doesn't count because now they know where I am. "I shouldn't have even tried," I confirmed aloud more with myself than them. The guy in the main pathway turned his head to me walked up to me, shaking his head with a ghost of a smile on his face, and placed the syringe next to my neck.
