"Why wouldn't he be?"

"Because he's a dork."

"A perfect, stupid, idiotic, lovely, caring, sensitive, cute, loving, dork and he's all mine."

"Oh god quit with the cheesiness, let's have one conversation that has nothing to do with our boyfriends."

"Okay, okay sorry."

"Don't apologize."

"Oh my god guess what!"

"What?!"

"I'm passing all my classes which means! I probably won't have to repeat Junior year."

"Alan! That's amazing!"

He nodded, "Yeah I know, it's a great feeling."

"I know it is, I'm so proud of you bro!"

"Thanks."

"Don't thank me, it's all you."

"It's an awesome feeling."

"You've said that," I said laughing.

"I hid my report card from Jane and John though."

"Why would you do that?"

"Because I don't want them to freak out and force me to get good grades."

"That's dumb."

"It's not dumb."

"Yeah it is, who cares if they hold you to a higher standard?"

"I do because I don't want to get pulled into the 'you have to get straight A club'."

"It's not that bad, besides, the club gets pretty lonely." I told him, "I mean I'm the only member."

"I know but I don't want to be apart of it."

"Damn okay."

"Sorry, nothing against you."

"Yeah sure whatever," I joked, shoving his shoulder lightly.

"It's not you Kells, it's me."

"Oh don't give me that," I said, rolling my eyes.

"It's true."

"I'm offended," I stated.

"You shouldn't be."

"I'm just kidding, hey do you think I'll be able to convince John and Jane to let me go see Kailey's performance?"

"Yeah probably. I haven't told them about the showcase yet."

"You should tell them," I prompted.

"I'll get to it."

"Sure you will."

"I will."

"Okay, okay."

"How have you been doing?"

"Fine, bored but fine," I shrugged.

"Fine? That's a lie."

I shook my head, "It's fine, I'm fine."

"Liar, liar pants on fire."

"I don't want to bum you out or something, I'll be fine."

"Talk to me."

I shrugged, "I'm just, I miss my friends." I mumbled quietly. "I honestly have no one to talk to anymore except you and Vic. And it kinda just sucks."

"Maybe you should text them and talk with them."

I shook my head, "No, they refuse to listen to me. All they want to do is talk shit about you and Vic and I can't be friends with people like that."
