Love And Power... (Mithzan max X Reader)

Love can hurt and love can heal...

He turned on the heart monitors and the monitors showed (y/n)'s heartbeat speeding up.

"Whats going on?!" I yell

"Adam get him out of here!!" The man yelled.

"Come on max." Adam grabbed my arm and lead me out of the room i tried to rebel but his grip onl got tighter and he slammed my body into a chair

"Stay here dammit!" He yelled and went off.

Adam's pov:

"Doctor whats happening to her?!" I yell at the verge of tears.

"Her heart is about to give out!" He grabs to metal things rubbed them together i heard all sorts or electronic noise coming from it.

"Adam dont be alarmed metahumans need 4times the electricity to jumpstart the heart alright?"

I nod and wipe away a tear.

He pushes the two weird things against her chest and lighting bolts came flashing down onto it. (Y/n)'s body was shaking like crazy.

Seeing my sister this way hurt me so i walked out of the room and ran to max.

"What going on in here why are there flashing lights going off in her room?!" Max yelled.

"Dude calm down hes helping her." I say in the calmest voice i could maintain.

"I demand to know what hes doing to her!"

"You dont deserve to know anything you broke my sisters heart you dont even deserve to be here!!" I yell.

"She told me she had powers how the hell was i supposed to act!!"

All of the sudden a light blue. blue mystic bomb came between us and blew us away.

"Please stop fighting!!!!!" I hear a female voice say.

I look up and it was (y/n) all around her was a light blue orb on the inside of the orb was blue smoke that roamed around her.

"Oh my god youre ok!!" Max tries to run and hug her but goes right through her.
She cant be dead right?

"Woah that was freaky!" (Y/n) chuckles.

"Oh no...no.no" max says with tears forming in his eyes. "Shes dead."

"No im not you idiots my heart is still pumping!" She places her hand on her heart.

"But if youre not dead and youre here how did you?"  Max mumbles confused.

"Wait.uh oh." Her body and the orb goes flying through the wall into her hospital room.

I run into the room i looked at her heart monitor her heart was stable.

"What the hell just happened?" I say confused,

"She just astro projected from her body her powers have grown immensely and her body couldnt take it cause she hasnt been taking care of her body." The doctor says.

"How is she is she ok?"

"Shes just fine shes just resting." 

I take a chair and slide it next to her and grab her hand.

Max runs into the room.

"What happened?!"

"Her powers were growing and she couldnt handle it cause her body was weak." I explain to him i let go of her and move my chair back so he can see her but he only came and leaned against the wall and crossed his arms while looking at her.

"Now i am baffled why her body couldnt handle it the metahuman only feels pain when there powers grow her heart almost gave out. Have you noticed any signs of depression?" He asked me.

"No shes always been her joyful self the only time she was depressed is when-"

"I broke up with her,"max says sadly. "I know better than anyone that she did fall into a depression. I can see it on her face even though shes sleeping." He came up and kneeled beside her bed and grabbed her hand and kissed it. "She was always so sensitive and fragile around me she let down her wall with me....that 'joy' you were seeing was front she always put up that front with everyone even you adam...." he scoffed "she let down her wall trusted me with her heart and then i let her down." He began to cry. "Shes in here because of me. She fell into a depression because of me."

"Lets give him some space." The doctor says.

I nod and we leave.

I cant believe i couldnt see that my own sister was depressed i should've  known before anyone! Im her brother!

Max's pov:

I wipe my tears.

"Goddammit (y/n) im so sorry i did this to you. Youre not a freak. Youre beautiful. Funny,smart, and strong but then i came along and ruined you. I over reacted when you told me about your powers i shouldbe known that you would never hurt me." I rub her forehead."cause you loved me like i still love you i never stopped loving you and i never will."

"You dont know how long ive waited to hear you say that." I hear he say weakly.

I look up at her. Her eyes were partially opened but i could still see her beautiful eyes looking back at me as she gave me a weak smile.

I hug her tightly.

I kiss her with everything in me i missed her soft lips against mine.

"I love you." I whisper.

"I love you too." She says weakly.
