The Start Of Everything

Start from the beginning

When I finally calmed down, I headed to my window. It was probably 2 a.m. now. The sky was cloudless and the full moon shone brightly. I smiled and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath and exhaled all my worries out.

The night sky always calms me down.

I head back to bed after I opened my eyes. I tried not to do it quickly. Not because I didn't want to make the floors creak. But because I saw something that suspiciously looked like a shadow of a man.

That night I had another nightmare and it was about a pair of glowing yellow eyes haunting me.

_-_-_

My mornings always had a routine. Waking up, then doing my personal hygiene, then dressing up and my favourite part of the day, breakfast.

I got down the stairs trying to slow my steps after I smelled the the scent of bacon. I grinned happily.

My mother was wearing an apron and was still cooking the last batch of bacon. My father was nowhere to be seen.

Typical of him. He never wakes up before 8 a.m.

I sat on the chair and wolfed down my breakfast. My mother followed soon after. We both ate like pigs on steroids.

Meh, who said we were proper ladies anyway.

I wiped the excess food dripping from my chin. "How was your night, Isaiah?" My mother asked, her mouth full of food. "Fine." I replied in the same condition.

Isaiah Fontiel is my name and caring about nothing is my game because everyone is so lame. I've got curled blonde ringlets and dark brown eyes.

I didn't want to worry my parents with my silly nightmares. Well, the scary kind of silly like a killer clown.

I headed to school after I said goodbye to my mom. My father just catched me in time to say goodbye.

It was a five minute walk from our house to our school.

I arrived at the school with a new juicy rumour buzzing around. Three new students was enrolled in the the second semester.

Two boys and a girl. Meh, I have no right to judge but seriously people, you don't know them yet a little piece of information made you feel like you have the authority to talk behind their backs.

Ugh, my morning started good then turned bad at the sight of my personalized hell.

I groaned internally. I started to walk towards the entrance of the senior high building. It's my last year here and after that, I'm outta here.

Students were already sprinting heading towards the social hall. It's traditional for our school to introduce and welcome a new student even if it is just one person.

The social hall was wide enough for all senior students to fit in. The teachers and the principal were already here though they haven't started yet.

I guess they were waiting for the new students to come in. Almost everyone already sat in the plastic chairs that was set in rows.

"Iah!" (Eye-yah)

I looked for the owner of the voice. My bestfriend, Luca Arellano, was waving wildly and pointing to a seat beside him.
