"No cable, video games, extra snacks, computer, or hanging out with friends until further notice." his father added.
"What?! You can't do this to me!" Henry snapped.
"We can and will. Gladys! Nigel!" his father called.
The servant and maid fluttered into Henry's room.
"Do us a small favor and take the boy's cable box, game station, laptop, and mini-fridge out of his room." his mother commanded.
"Yes Madam Watson." they said before they started to take Henry's possessions out of his room.
"And don't bring them back in until we say." his mother added.
"Yes sir." Gladys and Nigel said in unison as they continued to take stuff out.
After everything was taken out. Henry knelt in his bed, flabbergasted at the events that just took place. Staring his parents down with disgusted eyes.
"Why...WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!" he choked at first then snapped.
"It's for your own good son." his father said calmly.
"You need to kick this disturbing cycle and learn to be normal like all the other kids." his mother added in an unsettled tone.
"GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" he angrily screamed while covering his ears and with tears streaming down his cheeks.
His parents just looked at each other, then back at him.
He stood up with clenched fists, rage pulsing through his veins.
"I get it now..." Henry said in a disturbingly calm voice.
"Oh God please don't do the dramatic bed flop." his father mumbled.
Henry let out a dramatic gasp and flopped on his bed.
"Jesus Christ..."
"We're done here." his mother said as she took her husband by the hand and slammed the door.
Henry's bawling could be heard through it a few minutes later.
"You see what we have to put up with?" Rita said, aggravation heavy in her voice.
"I know he was spoiled, but I don't recall him being THIS spoiled." Jeffery mumbled.
"I think we're at fault in this." Gladys whispered to Nigel as she heard him scream and throw things. "We probably babied him too much in his youth."
-
"It's not fair, it's not fair, it's not fair!" Henry cried while repeatedly slamming his fists and feet on the bed and shouting into his pillow.
An audio frequency suddenly caught his ears, one that's been buzzed about ever since the day it happened.
The attack on Steven and Bravest. John Withers. The Creature.
He lifted his head from the pillow and watched the broadcast, a devious smile crossed his face.
I know what I'm going to do tonight..."
-
Night time passes, everyone has settled into slumber, well...all except Henry.
He was as quiet as a mouse as he tiptoed to the security room and shut off the systems, snuck back into his room, and climbed out the window with a cell phone in his pocket.
It's a good thing those parasites didn't take my phone yet...
-
"Honey...remind me to take away his phone tomorrow..." Rita sleepily mumbled.
"Yes dear..." Jeffery groggily muttered.
-
Henry was in hot pursuit to the crime scene. Making it to the house where the situation took place. He walked into it, carrying the same amount of curiosity as the boy did when he wandered into this house and murdered the man.
Using the flashlight on his phone, he searched around for any remnants of the malicious murder. Determination in a sick smile.
I hope I find my new pet here...
He eventually found the shadow of the dead body with a few crusted up blood stains on it.
Henry pulled out a long cotton swab and a pair of tweezers out of his pocket. He swiped the swab across one of the dried up blood stains and picked up a strand of black hair. He took out two test tubes from his other pocket and put the cotton swab and hair inside them. He then put them back in his pocket and used his phone light to search for a way out of the house.
-
Making it to his home, he snuck back into his room, closed the window, tiptoed to the security room, turned the systems back on, went back into his room, placed his phone by his bed, and snuggled under his bed sheets. Or so thought...
He pulled out a small remote from under his pillow and pressed a big, red button in the middle.
It activated a hole under Henry, causing him to fall through, going down a chute to an underground laboratory.
"Heh heh, my parents are clueless imbeciles." he said in a sickeningly happy manner.
He took the test tubes that held the cotton swab and hair strand out of his pocket and put it in a rotating slot where test tubes usually lay. They went into a computer where the DNA was to be scanned.
Entering the machine, millions of images, calculations, and formulas flashed across the screen. Henry sat patiently and happily in his swivel chair, anticipating results.
The scanning finally turned to an image. His eyes widened in shock and surprise.
"Interesting...and he goes to my school..."
