Ngumiti sya at ginulo yung buhok ko. "Ang cute mo talaga." Sabi nya at mas lalong ikinapula ng pisngi ko. Okay, huminga ka Winter. Wag kang magpahalata na kinikilig ka. "Ganun talaga si Ice. Masanay kana."

Nawala yung kilig ko sa katawan at napalitang ng curiosity. Bakit kung magsalita sya parang kilalang kilala nya na si Ice? Magkakilala sila? Okay, silly question. Syempre magkakilala sila, what I mean is, may relationship ba sila noon ni Ice? Like... friends? Or.. boyfriend-girlfriend relationship kung may isang bakla sa kanila.

Okay, this is crazy. Magtatanong na nga lang. "What do you mean, Kian?" I asked.

Tumingin sya sakin then he smiled. "Ice is my friend back then... a good friend of mine," he began. Humarap ako sa kanya para marinig yung sasabihin nya. He's opening up.

"Ice is cheerful, energetic and talkative boy back then. Palagi kaming magkasama. He's really a good friend. Hindi ko maiwasang mainggit sa kanya because lahat nasa kanya na.. complete and happy family, wealth, and many friends."

Si Ice? Cheerful? Energetic? Talkative? Talaga lang hah? Eh halos nga mapanis na yung laway nya na naka-stock lang sa bibig nya eh.

"But I realized, why am I even got jealous. Meron din naman ako nang meron sya but not the complete family. I have a broken family. Kaya siguro naiingit ako sa kanya," huminto sya at huminga ng malalim.

"But one day... Ice's mom died.." did I heard it right? Ice's mom is already dead? How come? Oh well, wala naman akong alam tungkol sa kanya. So, better listen first.

"..because of the cancer. Ice is a mommy's boy. He loves his mom so much that he can't live without her. But now, His mom's dead. And he don't have the reason to live, too."

"He attempted to kill his self. Not once, but he always did that everytime he remeber his mom death. He feels alone. Me and his father always go to his room to check if he's okay but we just saw him always crying shouting her mom's name."

"And tha's the start of the new Ice. He's cold towards people around him. Even with his father. Even with me. I can't blame him, If I'm on the position where is Ice now, I will surely lose my mind. But I'm not comfortable with him, right now. He talks to me like we are not friends back then. I'm not comfortable when he talks to the teacher with no respect. That's not Ice. That's not my bestfriend."

"He always study, study, and study. I thought it's because that's what her mom wanted if she's alive but I'm wrong. He did that on purpose. To make him busy and forget everything. Forget everything happened to her mom. Seriously, he didn't give a care if he's the rank one. Dahil simula nang mawala ang mommy nya, wala na syang pakielam sa mundo."
