When he finished speaking, he looks deep into my eyes, showing pure determination, where mine were filled with nothing but confusion. "I don't understand Severin, why would you be a complication to Skyler and I? I know you would never harm Skyler, as that has been made perfectly clear by how protective of him you are, and I don't think you could ever hurt me, your own brother."

Severin takes a deep breath and runs his hands trough his hair, stopping at the crown and pulling roughly, before letting his breath out in a deep sigh. "It looks as though the moon goddess thought it would be in her best interest to mate myself to a wolf as well." Before I could get my congratulations out, he continued. "The only problem with this, is it seems my mate already has one, and it happens to be you brother."

It took me a little bit to understand what he meant but once it did I couldn't control myself. My fist flew out of its own accord and connected solidly with his jaw, which much to my satisfaction cracked under the force. Severin raised his hand up, and rubs his jaw while looking straight into my face. "This wasn't my choice brother, I thought I could keep it from coming to pass, I thought if I kept away then it wouldn't be truth. I stayed away from you for 600 hundred years, hoping that it would chance fate. I knew when the visions started to take over my every moment, both waking and sleeping, that I had no choice but to go to you."

He takes a step back and leans his weight against the tree behind him, crossing his arms over his broad chest before continuing. "The moment I caught his scent, the smell of his arousal that first day in the clearing, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I had found my mate. Then when I smelled your scent mingled with his, I just knew that date couldn't be cheated, we were destined to share one single mate. I found myself feeling great envy when I saw you two together, even with that pathetic wolf claiming to be his mate and standing in the way, I still saw the bond you shared. I envied how quickly and solidly it had formed, even with Skyler having no knowledge of it. It was so easy for him to fall for you, and I knew, just knew deep down in my soul that I would never have that with him, no matter how much I loved him."

As I watch him speak, I can't help but feel his pain. It's so plain to see, it's almost a solid form handing in the air between us. Looking closely at his face, I can see the clouding of tears within his eyes. Never have I seen my brother cry, over anything in his life. His tears alone were enough to tell me that his emotions were genuine, and that was all I needed to know.

++++++++ FLASHBACK OVER +++++++++

As I wrap my arms around Skyler's shaking body, I feel him reaching out with his mind, trying to find Severin. I know my brother, and I know he won't answer. Luckily I have some ideas of where he might be. I slip my coat from my shoulders, and remove my shirt. It might be blood soaked, but it was better than nothing. I pull Severin's jacket from his frame and slip my shirt over his head. Once it's settled and covering him, down to his knees, I slip the jacket back over the top of it, then slip my own on.

I take his small hand within my own and lead him through the trees. We walk in complete silence for a little more than an hour before coming to a meadow. I know by the gasp that flys from Skyler parted lips that Severin has already told him what this was.

Sitting there under a tree was my brother, his knees drawn up and his head laying on them. I turn my face down to Skyler before real sing his hand and giving him a gentle push towards Severin.

•••••••••••••••••••• SKYLER'S POV •••••••••••••

I walk slowly towards Severin, unsure of what will happen once I reach him, I turn my head back and realize that Kin is no longer standing at the tree line. Sighing softly I turn back and continue my journey forward. When I'm just a few feet from his side, he lifts his head up and his obsidian eyes meet, and hold, my pale blues ones.

"If your here to reject me you could have saved yourself the journey and just done from the comfort of my brothers arms." Severin hisses out, under the pretense of being angry. Because I can see his aura, and because I have grown to know him so well I can see his true feelings. He's hurt, and scared, scared that I'm here to do exactly that.

I drop down to my knees beside him, and reach my shaking hands out towards his face, he flinches back and and away from my touch. The pain of that small rejection courses through my small body, causing me to falter in my movements. I push the pain away when I see Severin eyes flash, and reach out once more for his face. When he doesn't move away this time I cup his cheeks gently in my hands.

"I could never do that to you, I can not bare to see the pain in your eyes." As I speak I change my position, I throw my leg over his, and he drops his down giving me a lap in which to sit on. I'm now straddling his legs, and shift slightly when his leather pants rub against my bare balls.

I search his face, looking for the one emotion I pray to find, and when I see it plainly lighting up his eyes, I lean in an press my lips firmly to his.

I woke up this morning with one mate wrapped around me, and confessing his love to me, but it looks as if I will be sleeping tonight in the arms of my two mates, who both love me just a deeply as I love them.
