Mom finally got in the car and we pulled out of the driveway.

"So Andrew," my attention went to my mom," what classes are you taking?"

"Well of course music, but other than that I'm thinking mythical studies for a minor course. I've heard good things about the professor." I reply.

The rest of the way to Hannah's, I listened to my 'On The Road' playlist on my phone. I always got weird looks from people that were near me when I am listening to my music. Most of the time I would just break out into song, and not all of my songs were the best. I mean, of course I sang them beautifully, but when you sing Hailstorm and In This Moment, you kind have to explain why your singing about 'sex' or death. Just because the song is called 'Sex Metal Barbie', doesn't mean it's mine. Jeez people.

I'm 20, not 40.

Pulling into Hannah's is always an experience. She of course, was waiting outside with her luggage playing with electricity and making it bounce around on her finger tips. It is a cool trick, but now when she gets into the car, all of our hair is going to stand straight up and the smell of ozone won't leave the car for months. By the time it's gone, she is already back in it. So it's useless. But I love her anyway.

Hannah's parents, Adam and Jennie Walker, were bickering about some non important thing while setting up for some dinner. When she spotted the car, she did a little dance and waved. I couldn't blame her. Her mom and dad got a divorce and she is trapped in the middle. All the stress got so bad that it forced her into a blood lust, which my dad had to clean up. She must be excited to get away from the craziness.

The sound of the car door next to me opening broke me from a trance that I didn't even know I was in. She must have already shoved her shit into the trunk with mine. We still. Red to go get Jenna so I hope she saved room.

"Bye mom," she yells and waves, receiving a half assed wave back. I frowned when Hannah just brushed it off like it was nothing.

I started nodding to my head to 'King for a Day' by Pierce the Veil. I reach into my pocket, grabbing a head phone splitter. This particular one splits to three sets, so three people would be able to listen to it. Handy when you only have three best friends to share it with. I plugged my set it and gave the phone to her to do the same. By this time the song was over, and a new one was playing. Every time I let them listen to my music, I let them pick the song, because I like every song on the devise, and because they like to see if I can sing to it.

I watched her thumb scroll through the songs, her tongue sticking out in concentration. I waited patiently for her to chose one. Eventually, I watch as her face lights up. Looks like she chose one. She hits play and we both start nodding our heads. 'Face down' by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus starts playing. We both start singing at the same time, smiling and laughing when we go off key or we say the wrong word. We had a good time.

Turning into Jenna's house isn't as eventful as Hannah's. When we reach the house she is sitting up against a black wolf and cuddling a wolf cub. I can't help but think that it's so cute. When she sees the car pull up, she sits up and dismissed the wolf, but she holds onto the cub. She must be bringing the little thing as a pet. I want one.

"Hey guys!" We turn toward an opening door.

"Hey Jenna" we reply spontaneously, now listening to Nickelback. She knew not to interrupt, so she just settled with talking to my parents and stroking her little animal.

"What ............ are...............taking?" I heard my mom through the music.

"Cosmetics...............modern lit................. minoring......... photography." Was Jenna's reply to moms question. They must be talking about what classes she's taking. I watch the scenery go back as we drive the three hours to the college. Looking over now and then, I watch as Jenna cracks up laughing at something my mom said, and Hannah as she head bangs to a Disturbed song.
