"Exandria, ready when you are," Kol says, turning towards Elena and I.

I smile at Elena and hold my chin up, "Good talk."

Turning back to Kol we intertwine hands and walk out. On the way out, I blow a kiss to Elena who still leaned against the wall in shock.

"Let's get home. It has been a long day," I say, yawning as we get outside.

Kol nodded his head, "It has."

"Thank you for not killing Damon," I say leaning into his side.

"He was pretty close to death however," Kol shrugged.

I sighed and smiled, "Just say you're welcome."

"You're welcome," He said, kissing my head.

~~~~~
Kol and I had gathered our stuff from the motel we stayed in in Kansas and flew back to Mystic Falls. I was exhausted and did not bother calling and telling Basil we were on our way home. We arrived when the sun was still down. Kol went to his home and I went to mine.
I quietly made my way to the front door. I opened the door softly, incase Basil was asleep. As I walk inside, I shut the door behind me and my suitcase. Deciding to leave my suitcase by the door, I go into the kitchen to warm up some blood. As I wait, I head into the living room. What I see catches me by surprise.
Basil is laying on the couch but he is not the only one. A girl of brown hair and bits of blonde cuddled into his chest. I could not see her face.
"What the bloody hell is this?" I ask with a loud tone.
The girl shoots up and kicks the blanket off. She did all of this with the speed of a vampire, still not allowing me to see her face.
"Alexandria--" Basil says before cutting himself off with a sigh.
Mystery girls tries to run past me but I grab her by the throat. I slam her onto the coffee table and get a good look at her.
"Elise?" I ask staring into her green eyes, barely a whisper.
The beautiful girl smirks at me, "You say that name as if you thought the bearer was dead."
"I did. You know, I think she may be better off dead," I, grinning at her.
"How do you know she's not dead and you are just going crazy after all these years," She offers, kicking me in the chest causing me to fall back.
Chuckling, I say, "Honey, I know I am not going crazy but you are. Go back to the dead. We aren't your kind of crowd."
"Can you two just hug hug already?" Basil asks with a laugh.
"I cannot believe you are here!" I scream, running and jumping into her arms.
Wrapping my arms and legs around Elise, I hold her tightly. She laughs and holds me closely. After we pull away, Basil wraps his arm around her waist.
"So this is the mystery girlfriend," I say to Basil, gesturing to Elise.
"That I am," Elise says, pecking Basil on the cheek.
Rolling my eyes, I say, "I don't understand why you didn't want to tell me."
"I wanted to tell you but with all of the Mikaelson drama, I wanted to wait," Basil said with a shrug.
I chuckled and shook my head, "Well the Mikaelson drama has not died down one bit. If anything, more fuel was added to the flame."
Basil's face gained a frown, "Oh no. What has happened now?"
I shook my head, "No, it's alright. We can talk about this later. Wouldn't want to bore Elise with this, now would we?"
"It wouldn't bother me. I would like to know so I do not die," Elise says before continuing when she sees my confused expression. "Basil told me about the Originals and the white oak stake."
"Do you know what bloodline you are from? You're obviously not from Finn's because he is dead," I say, raising my eyebrows at her.
She shrugs her shoulders, "I honestly have no idea. I was turned by a vampire called Arend in the fifteen hundreds."
"What was Arend like?" I ask, trying to guess who could have turned him based on his personality.
"He was terrifying. Arend was crazy. He killed everything in sight. His humanity had evaporated when he was turned," Elise says, a dark shadow cast upon her face.
Basil looks down at her, "Why did he turn you?"
"Arend wanted me to be is plaything, his servant," Elise claims, moving closer into Basil's side.
"Tomorrow I will ask the Mikaelsons who turned Arend," I said and nodded my head. "What did he look like, Elise?"
A shudder went down her spine as she relived his memory, "His hair was brown and his skin was pale.He had black eyes that held glints of terror and death."
"I am so sorry, Elise," I say, rubbing her shoulder.
"Thanks, but he is dead so I have nothing to fear," Elise said with a small smile.
Basil furrowed his eyebrows, "Who killed him?"
"Me," Elise says simply. "When I saw my time to strike, I took it and ran."
"Well then. I guess we can't just ask him," Basil sighs.
Elise shakes her head, "We would have never been able to do that."
A yawn escaped my lips and Basil noticed, "Alexandria, you should get to bed. You have been traveling nonstop."
I nod my head and yawn again, "Goodnight guys."
"Night," They said as I headed up the stairs and into my bedroom.
I changed into my pajamas and crawled into bed. After a few minutes of staring at the ceiling, I hear something outside my window. The window opens and I sit up from bed to get a good look.
"Who's there?" I ask, seeing a figure outside the window.
The figure opens the window and comes inside. I sigh when I realize who it is.
"Kol, what are you doing here?" I ask, laying back in bed.
He walks beside me and joins me in bed, "I couldn't sleep."
I lay my head on his chest and mumble, "I love you."
"Love you too."
