"Alderaan," Sage whispered, her mouth parting as she looked at the ground, in shock at what just happened.

Bodhi's eyebrows furrowed in as he lowered his head to make eye contact with her, "What?"

Sage's attention turned towards Bodhi as she regained her breath, "The death star, they-" she stopped, looking around at the crowd that had gathered. "They destroyed Alderaan."

The crowd stopped, completely frozen in shock. Sage explained further: "I heard screams, a lot of them, they were so loud. And then they were just suddenly silenced." She paused, looking back at Bodhi, tears running down her face, "And then I saw-"

Bodhi didn't hesitate to pull Sage into a hug as the crowd began murmuring. Cassian's hand left her back as he sat there, a look of helplessness on his face. The crowd sat there in dismay, and eventually Mon Mothma and General Draven came in, shoving their way through the crowd to Sage.

"What's going on here?" General Draven asked harshly, looking around before his eyes finally fall on Bodhi and Sage.

Sage quickly wipes her tears away and pulls away, much to Bodhi's resist. Mon Mothma glared at Draven for being so harsh with his words before she kindly walked over and knelt down in front of Sage. "What happened?"

Sage sniffled once before her expression became hard, "The Empire used the death star to destroy Alderaan."

Mon Mothma's mouth parted slightly, shock overtaking her. Even General Draven stood there with a look of lost hope. Mon Mothma did her duty, though. She stood up and turned towards the crowd, "I want this information authenticated immediately!"

The crowd instantly dispersed, some of the men running to their ships to go fly to Alderaan. Bodhi, under the gaze of Draven and Mon Mothma, instantly helped Sage up. Jyn followed Cassian, who followed Bodhi and Sage. They all went to Sage and Bodhi's room since it was the biggest. There was a small kitchen, much like Cassian's quarters, except bigger.

Jyn instantly went to get water from the kitchen as Bodhi helped Sage sit down at the table. Cassian sat across the table from her and Bodhi as Sage turned to Bodhi, "I'm sorry," she whispered.

Bodhi kind of cocked his head back, surprised at her words. He instantly leaned towards her, shaking his head, "N- no, Sage, you have nothing to apologize for."

Sage only nodded and Bodhi feared that she didn't actually process his words. He sighed and backed up slightly as Jyn came and placed the cup of water on the table before Sage. Sage muttered a small 'thank you.'

The group sat there for a moment before Cassian spoke, "I feel so incredibly helpless," he said. The group only nodded in agreement, they all felt like that.

"All that work to get the plans for the death star, and the Empire might've gotten them back in a second," Bodhi said causing Jyn to clench her teeth.

Sage and Cassian sat there thinking logically for a moment before Cassian shook his head, "No... They must not have the plans."

Sage nodded causing Bodhi to turn towards both of them, "Well how do you know?"

Sage sighed, opening her mouth to speak but stopping, closing it for a moment, "So, look at the facts. They have Leia, who very well knows where the plans are. So obviously they're trying to get the information out of her." Sage paused, "Her whole family was on Alderaan, they blew it up because they are trying to get her to give up the plans."

Cassian nodded, his hands connecting together and resting on his lap, "There's no other reason they would target Alderaan," he spoke.

Jyn quickly stood up, pacing around the room, "I can't just sit here any longer!" She shouted in frustration, she then turned towards the other three. She placed her hands against the table, "The next chance we get to help, I'm going to take it." The other three nodded in agreement, but Jyn wanted a verbal confirmation, "Are you with me?"
