Crushed- Beggining and Past

Start from the beginning

She rolls her eyes and begins to say something, but Calvin has become tired of chatting and wants a payment for his awesome saving skills, and her lips look good enough for a payment. So he decides to claim his payment and pulls Darcy to him and kisses her. Once she gets over her initial shock, and stops thinking about his sweet, soft lips, she pushes Calvin away. Well at least she tries, but he doesn't let her go. He caresses her back and he forgets about his troubles. Her lips are hesitant at first, but after a moment she stops struggling against him and returns the kiss. He doesn't want to let her go because she is his new lifeline and he's determine to devote himself to her, whether she wants or not.

She's mine.

With this thought in mind, he lets them pull apart and he goes to retrieve her belongings from where they were discarded during the incident. He notices that the man is no longer laying on the ground and he looks around to see that it is all clear. He walks back to Darcy and puts an arm around her fragile shoulders and guides her out of the park that they're in.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Somewhere safe."

"Where?" she asks irritation clear in her voice.

"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe. I don't know why you are questioning my decisions, after all I just saved your life. And gave you your best kiss ever." he says and gives her a dazzling smile that makes her irritation toward him hard to hold onto.

She lets out a defeated sigh and crosses her arms. He stops and looks deeply into her eyes and searches for a sign of trust. When he finds it, he pulls her to him. But instead of kissing her, as Darcy expected and hoped, he hugs her. They stand in that position for a while and then he reluctantly lets her go. He gently kisses her forehead before taking her hand in his and leading her to his house. After a while, they reach the brown two story house with a homey atmosphere. As they continue toward the house, Darcy realizes she doesn't know anything about Calvin or his motives and she has already given him her first kiss.

Before they step onto the porch, Darcy asks once again where they are. Calvin sighs and says, "This is my house."

Darcy stops walking and starts to panic. She begins to think of many things that could go wrong if she goes into his house. As the worst scenarios run through her mind, she begins to retreat from the house, but Calvin holds her in place. She tries to make an excuse as to why she can't go into his house, but he doesn't listen.

Although he wants to admit to her that he's not ready to part from her, and that if it was up to him she would always be by his side. But he knows that now is not the time to declare his feelings to her. He knows that if she is freaking out about going into his house, she will probably refuse to speak to him if he declares his feelings toward her. He watches her closely and sees her fear increase and he decides to explain his intentions, well at least partially.

"I'm not going to harm you, I just want to help. I know you need my help. I promise that after I make sure that you are safe, I will leave you alone. If you wish, that is. After all who would want to part from their protector, who is awesome at saving people."

Although Darcy knows that he is trying to calm her down by being playful, she still looks him into his shiny gray eyes and tries to read his true intentions. All she sees in his eyes is sincerity of his statement. She hesitantly takes his hand and continues to walk into the house.

A week later

Once Calvin pushes Darcy out of the way, again, Darcy lets out an irritated sigh and decides that she has had enough of his pushy and commanding attitude toward her. She's tired of him treating her like a piece of property and not treating her like a person. She tired of him controlling every little thing she does and she's mostly tired of his repetitive bragging of his rescuing her. She turns on her heels and walks toward her temporary room at Calvin's house.
