“Let’s go there” she pointed to a small park, again she did not let me answer because she ran off. I couldn’t do anything but follow her and by the way she’s acting like a kid, I can only understand my assumption that her clumsiness may also level that of a kid and might then lead her to getting injured, oh so help me God, I may finally know the feeling of babysitting.

“Drew can you push the swing for me?” she requested once I finally caught up to her, her sitting on a swing.

“No” my rejection made her pout and I decided that, that was going to 'my adorable Aubrey' list, that list exist only inside my head of course.

“Pretty please, please, pleeeaaaasseee?” she begged with the puppy dog eyes. I averted my eyes because no one could ever say no to that. I looked back and she was still doing it. 'This woman is evil and I honestly thought that, that look was going to my list again. Not anymore, or it would be the death of me'

“Alright, alright! Just stop with that look” I said and she giggled. I pushed the swing as I was asked to.

“You call that a push?” she questioned me and I sighed loudly. I obliged and pushed it harder. ‘That just sounded so freakishly wrong’. I shook my head from those thoughts and continued what I was doing earlier just a bit stronger. ‘There, that was better’

“Oh my god Drew what is wrong with you? Push it harder!” I had to step back and re-gather my thought upon hearing that.

“Aubrey that sounded wrong don’t you think?” I told her, she used her feet to stop the swing and stared at me.

“What do you mean? I just said push it harder…” she said but trailed off when she realized it.

“Oh my god you’re a pig!”

I grimaced, “why me? It was your words!” I looked at her and she was almost blood red even her ears were red. I laughed at how cute she is, being so innocent and all. ‘It’s decided, a blushing Aubrey is definitely adorable’

“Stop laughing!” she yelled at me. I smirked and sat on the swing next to her.

"Correct me if I'm wrong. You're not dating anyone right now, right?" I asked her, she stared at me surprised with my question and her surprised look was understandable and so was her silence so I waited for her answer, patiently, I didn’t get a word though, only a confirmatory nod.

"Aubrey Dale not dating anyone is such a phenomenon" I told her.

"How come?"

"You're gorgeous, kind, smart, a little fierce on the side, just… perfect. " I told her while maintaining eye contact. She avoided my gaze with a blush.

"Wh-.. Where the hell did that came from?" she shyly mumbled looking away

I smiled, "and you're just too adorable" I whispered not meaning for her to hear me, but she still did

"Shut up!" Aubrey grumbled adding it with a punch on the shoulder

“We should go” I stood and walked off when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, I didn't want to answer it when Aubrey's around though. Not after what happened at the party, I don't know how long the phone call might take so it's safe just to call them back after I drop Aubrey at her house.

“Hey, wait for me” she said running after me. I looked at her who was walking beside me and back at the park, I shrugged. ‘A few minutes won’t hurt.’

I took her hands with mine and started walking back to the park.

“I thought we’re going back?” she asked me and I shook my head.
