Shin x Reader

"Mmm!" You exclaimed, shaking Shin so he could get notified. You swallowed the food in your mouth before speaking,

"That's him!" You whisper-yelled, Shin turned around and frowned when he did. You liked him, Budo Masuta, the f***boy of the school.

"Oh, You like him?" He asked, the frown still visible on his face. You nodded and smiled, unaware of the navy-haired boy's jealousy.

It was has been a few days and Budo has been your friend ever since. Shin would stay close and glare at Budo every time he talks to you.

Your crush on Budo remained ever since that incident, and you made up your mind.

'I am going to confess to him this Friday.' You thought to yourself before going back to doing what you were doing.

You smiled as you inserted your note in Budo's locker, making sure it doesn't get crumpled.

It was already Friday, and you were going to confess to him today.

You breathed in deeply before running to the cherry blossom tree, where your future awaits you.

A couple of minutes later, footsteps could be heard as your heart pounded faster. You turned around to see Budo panting before he looked up and saw you.

He immediately stood up and stared at your (E/C) eyes, making you blush harder.

"You wanted to meet me here?" His voice made you smile as you nodded your head, handing him a pink envelope that was your confession letter.

He opened the note and read it silently, making sure he doesn't say it out loud. After reading, he folded it and stuffed it in his pocket.

You stared at his actions for a few seconds, before starting to tear up. He backed away and bowed politely, before saying,

"I'm sorry (L/N)-san, but I don't feel the same way. I hope we can still be friends." You nodded as you gave him a sad smile. Tears tried to leak out of your eyes but you refused to let them flow.

"I... I understand. I will be heading my way now. See you later, Masuta-kun." He gave you a smile full of sympathy before you ran away, making sure he doesn't catch up.

Your eyes managed to hold the tears as you ran. You didn't really know where you were going, you just wanted to be as far away from Budo as possible.

You bumped into walls as you managed to reach the 3rd floor, just some turns and you will arrive to your classroom in seconds.

Once you arrived, the concern voice of your childhood friend echoed through the empty classroom.

"(Y/N), are you alright?!" You shook your head as Shin stood up and wrapped his arms around you.

"What happened? Did... did he reject you?" He asked, lightly stroking you back as you nod your head. He fumed as he thought about that martial artist, what did he have that Shin doesn't.

You sobbed onto his now-wet shoulder, wishing that you didn't confess in the first place.

After a few minutes, you pulled away from his embrace.

"Well... Um..." He scratched his cheek lightly as he turned red, trying to figure out how to confess to you. (U so dense -__-)

"I... I like you." You stared at him and he then panicked.

"I-I mean... I like you in a like like way, y'know? Not a friendly way but a way.... uh...---" He trailed off until he was cut off with a soft pair of lips. After a good 10 seconds, you pulled away. You stared at his red face with a heart-warming smile that you didn't show very often.

"I accept your confession, Shin." After you said that, Shin smiled brightly and hugged you immediately. He kept muttering 'Thank you's that weren't really necessary. You wished you had known his feelings from the start and not have any connections with Budo, but the past is in the past and you were together now.

Ever since that faithful say, you and Shin were the cutest couple in school. You loved him, and thats the only thing that matters. Love.

I am sorry if (Y/N) is out of character and isn't really your personality but... it only made writing easier, xD. Personally, I don't match with this (Y/N)'s personality because:
-She was too dense.
-I wouldn't even have a crush on anyone.
-Crying because she got rejected. (I will never do that.)
