"I AM happy" I frowned.
Our parents narrowed their eyebrows and leaned in to stare at me closely, "No, you don't look like it" Dad said.
"OF COURSE, I AM NOT!" I said through my teeth as they flinched with fright, fuming with anger and pointed my finger at them motioning one by one, Staring with Dad, "Did you plan this to happen?!" I moved my finger to Mum.. Auntie... and .. Uncle
"W-well, we just didn't expect it to be so early.." Auntie stuttered, not meeting my eyes..
Early?... EARLY??! .. Oh. Oh! I wanna die right now!!
I fainted a bit, feeling dead beat from worrying about their reaction. They are so like to torment me silently without knowing it!
Stephen finally spoke, "Then.. If you guys were planning to get us together... Then, what about the girl you set me up with for marriage?" he asked..
Oh, yeah.. he's got a fiancée that cannot be name. It's been going for years, and they never mentioned her name.
"Oh, that~" Uncle said, remembering, "Your fiancée is actually Leah.." He smiled as our parents smiled nervously. I noticed my dad, pulling his collar to gulp and our moms sweat with fear.
I stood up abruptly, pushing myself up with my hands on the table, "WHAT???!!"
"Oh, cool" Stephen said with amusement as he laughed, crossing his arms and laid back. Cool?! How is that cool?!
"You guys will get married in three weeks time!" Mum said with glee. Auntie clapped with excitement.
"THREE WEEKS??!! Three as in three freakin' weeks??!" I yelled low, trying to control my anger.
"Well, du'rr!" Mum said, talking to me like a stupid kid.
I fixed my right ear, thinking maybe I heard it wrong, "Are you sure it's not tree weeds or something?"
Everyone shook their heads left, right, left and right, "Like it or not, it's gonna happen, sweetie" Mum smiled frighteningly. What a scary smile she has.
Even Dad is scared too, 'Who are you and what have you done with my wife??!' Dad said.
I rolled my eyes and looked back at Mum, "Why do I have to get married in three weeks? Isn't it too early?" I asked, trying to calm myself down.
"Okay" Aunty answered in place of Mum, "Either you choose to... if you want, We can postpone the wedding so that you two can get married after your kid IS born OR getting married with huge tummy showing OR getting married early with no tummy showing"
"Three options you can choose. You don't want your kid to be born with you two unmarried, do you?" Uncle said.
No, I don't want to. I don't want my baby to be born with us unmarried, kiddo won't like it. So, one down and two more options. I don't want to get married with my tummy showing. I might look fat, so no way..
I sighed with defeat, rubbing my forehead, "Fine.." Everyone began to smile, "Three weeks it is" I said as their smile grew wider. Mum and Auntie squealed with excitement, as they, again, clasped their hands tight to each other as they said, 'We are gonna be aunties!!'
Aunties?
"Ma, isn't it Gra-" Stephen said and I quickly covered his mouth before he completes the sentence as our mums' heads turned to us and glared.
Guess they don't like to be called 'Grandmas' or 'Grandnannies'. It's making them look old ladies though they clearly aren't. Believe me or not, they looked like they are in their late twenties as if we were never born. Same goes to our dads. They are as handsome as the young handsome lads. Er.. Somehow resembles like Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp.. or.. Brad Pitt. Like all the handsome young dads except they are older than they look.
