Hate is a strong word

"SHHHH! God why are you so loud?"

"I wasn't being loud. You were being loud."

I rolled my eyes at him. "If you want to go, we can. I just have to call and tell the orphanage first." My voice cracked on the word 'orphanage' and Harry heard. He tried to smile reassuringly at me, rubbing my leg.

"Ay! Where's Louis?" Zayn asked me. I just shrugged my shoulders.

"I wanted to talk to you guys actually. I'm really sorry you had to cut your tour short. I never actually wanted you guys to find out we got in an accident." I told them.

"We were bound to find out sooner or later, Rox. You won't have a car for weeks and what are we supposed to think when we see we're losing money?" Zayn said.

"And you're arms in a cast." Niall pointed out.

I felt stupid. "Ya...I didn't really think that through too much. Haha."

"Not the first time." Everyone said at the same time.

We sat down and ate the pancakes Harry made for us, and then I went to go get dressed. As far as the boys were concerned, Harry and I were going to go shopping for Christmas presents. Christmas was for another few months, so these boys will believe anything.

I got dressed into one of Louis' oversized t-shirts, a pair of leggings and my blue Toms, before walking downstairs with my car keys.

Harry was already waiting downstairs, watching tv, but got up off the couch when he saw me.

"I need coffee first, so we're going to Starbuck's." I said. He nodded and went to go get out in one of the other cars we owned, since I don't have mine at the moment.

"Bye boys! And Robin!" I called out.

"Bye!" they all yelled back.

And I went and got out in the car too.

Since the orphanage was in London, we didn't have to drive far.

After about 15 minutes, we pulled up to Maxwell's Home For Boys and walked up the front steps. I was a little hesitant at ringing the doorbell but Harry did it instead. He hadn't said anything the whole drive and still hasn't . I don't understand what's going on with him. He caught me looking at him and mouthed, "What?" I just shook my head and quickly looked down at my feet.

Maxwell Frye had answered the door, as he always did. He owned the home, him and his wife, Olivia. They were a sweet, old family really.

"Roxanne! I didn't expect you coming so soon!" he said, pulling me into a fatherly hug. I smiled and hugged back.

"Sorry, Max. My friend Harry wanted to meet Caymin and I thought, why not? I told Olivia I was coming." I told.

He nodded his head and smiled at me. "I'm sure you did, darling. Come on in. Caymin just woke up." He shuffled me and Harry inside, and once inside I saw those familiar locks of orange hair peaking out from behind a corner.

"Mommy!" Caymin screamed, running out of hiding. I smiled and got down on my knees to hug the little boy.

"Hi, baby." I said, hugging him hard and playing with his orange curls. "How are you?"

He smiled weakly at me. "I don't know. I'm alright I guess." he said in his cute little voice.

"Alright you guess? You don't sound very certain." I told him.

He leaned in and whispered in my ear. "Did you come to take me home?" That broke my heart. Really. I looked up at Max who just gave me an apologetic look. I felt a tear trickle down my face. I wiped it away quickly so Caymin couldn't see me crying.
