Coronation

I say and motion towards the door.I opened it for Evie and she smiled at me then walked outside and we all headed to the Cathedral.Once we walked inside everyone was watching us which I wasn't exactly upset about but it did remind me of the Isle.When the five of us would walk down the street and the people would scatter and watch us from the sides of the street and the shop windows. I never liked when people feared me but I found it better than people calling me a coward.The guards showed us where we would be standing which was in the balcony above where Mal and Ben would be.Before Ben walked in I saw Mal being escorted to the front of the room closest to where Fairy Godmother's wand was.I pointed down to it and the others nodded as Ben made his entrance. When he passed by where we were standing everyone bowed and I could tell Carlos was confused.

I nudged him and motioned to how Jay was bowing and Carlos copied him.We were about 20 minutes into the Coronation before Jane ran up and grabbed the wand.Everyone started to freak out and duck but Jay motioned for us to start running down stairs.When we got to the big doors I saw that Mal was now holding the wand and Ben was standing in front of her."Ben I said stand back."Mal yells out then the girl from the Courtyard stepped forward."I told you so."She says and Mal holds the wand towards her making everyone jump back."Come on."Carlos says. "Revenge time."Jay says once we reach her."You don't want to do this."Ben says."We don't have a choice Ben.Our parents..." "You're parents made their choice.Now it's time you made yours."Ben says cutting Mal off. I could tell Mal was looking around because she slightly lowered the wand.

"I think I want to be good."Mal says and I look at Evie."You are good."Ben says."How do you know that?"Mal yells out making me look back at them. "Because, because I'm listening to my heart."Ben says."I want to listen to my heart too."Mal says and stood there for a moment."And my heart is telling me that we are not our parents."Mal says and turns to me and the others with a slight smile then she looked at Jay."I mean stealing things doesn't make you happy.Tourney and Victory pizza with the team makes you happy."Mal says and Jay smiles and looks at us while Mal looked at Carlos. "And you scratching Dude's belly makes you happy, who would have thought."Mal continued and Carlos had a wide smile on his face.Mal turned to me and Evie and just smiled."Evie you are one of the smartest people I've ever met and you make amazing clothes."

Mal says with a semi joking tone making us laugh a little."And Daisy."Mal says and looks down as a tear ran down her face."You have one of the biggest hearts I think anyone can have, you always put everyone else first then you help yourself, and you aren't afraid to show your love for others."Mal says and tears filled my eyes."People might have called you a coward on the Isle but you are one of the bravest people I've ever met."Mal says and I look down with a smile as the tears fell."You and Evie make each other super happy."Mal says and I look up at Evie who was smiling.I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers making her look at me."I don't want to destroy things and be bad.I want to go to school."Mal says and we all look at her with wide smiles."And be with Ben, because Ben makes me really happy."Mal continues, turning towards Ben who smiled as Mal held the hand that had his ring on it up.

"Us being friends makes me really happy."She says turning back to us."I choose good you guys."Mal says and puts her fist out then looks at us. Jay stepped forward and put his fist against Mal's."I choose good too."He says and we all smile.Mal and Jay looked over at me and Evie."I choose good." Evie says and puts her fist against the others. "Good."I say and put my fist in making Evie squeeze my hand and I looked at her.She smiled at me then we looked over at Carlos."So just to be clear we don't have to worry about how really mad our parents will be?"He asks and we all laugh."Because they are going to be really really mad."Carlos continues and everyone quieted their laughter."You're parents can't reach you here."Ben says making us look at him then back to Carlos. "Okay then.Good."Carlos says and puts his fist in.Everyone smiled at each other then Mal turned to Ben and motioned for him to join in.He added his fist to the mix and everyone cheered.
