"Y-yes. Sorry!" I said nervously, wrapping my arms around myself tightly. He gave me one last glare before going to the desk that was at the side of his room, he grabbed what looked like his car keys and phone then looked at me "I'll be back before lunch time which means there will be enough time for you to make this room spotless. Cleaning tools are in the bathroom" He said. I thanked him before watching him exit the room and shut the door silently, leaving me alone in his freakishly large bedroom

I scanned the white walls and the carpeted floor. I slowly walked to the bathroom to get the tools and was amazed by how amazing and huge his bathroom was. His bathroom was almost the same size as my bedroom here. I let my eyes wander around his beautiful bathroom. I saw the cleaning tools that he was talking about on the side of the bathroom and took all of them out

I shut the bathroom door and looked around the spotless room with cleaning tools in my hands

"Let's make this spotless room even more spotless then"

...

I looked at the bathroom that I just finished mopping for the fifth time with satisfaction. I wiped the sweat that was slowly crawling down from my forehead to my cheek. I returned the cleaning tools back to where I took them and shut the bathroom door. I turned to look at the bedroom to check if there was anything that I missed. I looked at his now clean desk. I made sure to put all of the papers in one place and arranged all of his pens. I also cleaned his expensive laptop with a cloth

I looked at the picture frame of him and Lily

Lily had her arms wrapped around his waist with a huge smile while Grey had one arm on her should with only a half smile

I smiled at their cuteness

I looked at his tall bookshelf that was full of old looking books

I didn't really have anything to do might as well just read something. I walked towards the shelf and scanned all of the books. I noticed that he had lots of William Shakespear books, I looked at his collection of William Shakespear books with amusement shining in my eyes

then one book caught my eye

Poetry

I carefully grabbed the brown book that had a black fancy cursive writing infront of it. I quickly sat on the chair and placed the book on top of his newly arranged desk. I opened the book using one finger and read the cursive writing in my mind

I saw a Tiger's golden flank,
I saw what food he ate,
By a desert spring he drank;
The Tiger's name was Hate.

Then I saw a placid Lamb
Lying fast asleep;
Like a river from its dam
Flashed the Tiger's leap.

I saw a lion tawny-red,
Terrible and brave;
The Tiger's leap overhead
Broke like a wave.

In sand below or sun above
He faded like a flame.
The Lamb said, "I am Love;
Lion, tell your name."

The Lion's voice thundering
Shook his vaulted breast,
"I am Love. By this spring,
Brother, let us rest."

I flipped the page and read more poetry. I was actually enjoying reading some of these because I already read fifteen of them. I was already reading half of the sixteenth poem when I heard a deep voice behind me

"Having a great time?" I turned around quickly, almost falling off the chair. I looked at Grey who was standing behind me wearing white long sleeves with a tie hanging loose around his neck

What a fine man he is

"I-I'm so sorry" I stuttered in fear, quickly standing up and looking down. I could see his feet walking near me with so much grace. He stopped right infront of me making my heart pound hard inside my chest

"Poetry" He said. I bit my lip staring at his expensive black leather shoes "You're reading poetry" I looked at him and nod

then I remembered that he didn't like it when I answer with a nod

"Y-yes" I quickly said with a shaky voice. He looked at me with narrowed eyes and then looked at the book "You like poetry?" He asked. I was actually surprised that he was making a small talk

"Yes. I used to read poetry back in Canada every night before going to sleep" I said wrapping my arms around me. He simply just nodded and slowly backed away from me then turned to scan his room "I cleaned your room and also organized your desk. All of your papers are in the first drawer. Your pens, pencils, markers are inside the middle drawer and the other things are placed inside the third drawer neatly" I said "I'm also done with your bathroom. Don't worry, I made it spotless like you asked" I wasn't lying. There was this stain on one tile that took me forever to get rid of

He walked around the room with so much grace and confidence making me feel even more nervous. He opened the bathroom door and took his time to scan his bathroom for any dirt or any reason to hurt me or get rid of me. He probably wanted me out of his house especially after seeing me reading his book and sitting on his own chair without permission

"You could've done better" He said, shrugging "But still, you did an amazing job. Don't forget to come back tomorrow. Same time" He said "You may go back to your room now" He sat down on his bed, taking of his leather shoes while looking at me

"I said leave" He said making sure that his words were clear. I snapped out of my thoughts and quickly bowed my head "Thank you" I said walking quickly to exit the door

"What did you read?" I stopped and slowly turned to look at him "Excuse me?" I asked confused. He licked his lips making it redder "What was the poem that you read about?" He asked, voice full of seriousness

I uncomfortably scratched my elbow that wasn't really itchy at all "I kind of read more than ten poems but for me the poem about the lion and the lamb was the one that really stood out for me" I answered confidently. He looked at me for a moment then turned around and looked at the view from outside his large window

"Leave" He said. After thanking him, I quickly went out the room and shut the door. I released a loud sigh of relief. I silently prayed in my mind while walking back to my room

Thank God I'm still alive
