Jealousy?

"You look amazing in everything," Josh added.

"Thanks," I beamed.

We got into the car and started to head out.

"Hey can we stop by the house first," Josh said turning towards me. 

"Of course," I smiled. 

We pulled up into the house and the lights were all off. I wonder where everyone is.

"Let's go," Josh said. He opened the car door and grabbed my hand and led me to the door. 

Lucas POV

"Guy's you need to shut the hell up she's almost here!" Skye yelled.

"Who invited him?" I yelled back.

"That's the opposite of what I said," He laughed crossing his arms. 

I rolled my eyes, "Just go hide."

All this party planning for the past three hours was torture. Riley was very serious about this party. 

 3 Hours Ago

"Everything is ruined," Riley complained leaning her head on my shoulder.

"What's wrong," I laughed. 

"The balloons are deflated," she pouted. 

"Ok what do you want me to do?" Mr. Matthews said looking at her. 

"Can you run down to the store and pick up the numbers 18 balloons."

"Of course," he responded. 

"Yay!" she beamed. 

"Mom!" she yelled into my ears.

"Yeah," she responded.

"We need the cake."

"I'm making it you can calm down," her mom responded. Then the doorbell rang.

"I have to do everything," she said standing up walking to the door. 

Present Time

"She's at the door," Riley whispered. We heard the door open and Riley was smiling. 

"Where is everyone?" I heard Maya asked. That was the cue.

"Suprise!" we all screamed. 

"Oh my god you guys," she laughed.

"Happy Birthday Maya!" Skye screamed.

"Who invited you," she screamed back.

"That's exactly what I said," I chuckled. She turned towards me and smiled. She looked amazing today. 

"Great minds think alike Huckleberry," she smirked.

"Let's get this party started!" Riley yelled from beside me.

 "Let's get wasted," Skye yelled. 

"I agree!" Farkle responded. We turned off most of the lights and started to blast some music.

"Let's get some shots and dance," Maya smiled pulling me, Riley, and Farkle towards the kitchen. She opened up the cabinet to get some shot glasses. 

"What are you going to make?" Riley asked sitting on my lap. I saw Maya's expression change before returning to her smile.

"I am going to make a Kamikaze."

"What is that?" I asked.

"Oh you're such an innocent cowboy."

She started mixing vodka with other ingredients before handing it to us.

"Bottoms up!" she smirked. I grabbed the shot glass and chugged it. I felt a burning sensation go through my throat.

"This is really good," I laughed.

"Thanks," she smiled before grabbing our hands and pulling us on the dance floor. 

"Let's dance," Farkle laughed. 

After hours of more creative shots and dancing it started to get really hot. I headed outside and sat down on one of the beach chairs.

"Hey Ranger Rick," Maya said sitting next to me.

"Hey how's your birthday?" I asked turning to face her.

"Being 18 sounds like plenty of responsibility." she laughed, "You would know you're like 24." 

"Maya I'm 19," I said shaking my head.

"You do know that dating Riley is illegal."

"She's turning 18 soon," I shrugged.

"Also why did she invite so many people," she laughed.

"Riley is very extravagant."

"Do you love her?" she asked out of nowhere looking into my eyes. 

"Yes," I gulped.

"Are you in love with her?" she asked turning to look at her hands.

"I don't know," I replied honestly.

"She's just perfect but I don't want just perfect I want an adventure," I sighed, "I want an adventure."

She looked up at me again. Her blue eyes staring at me. Her beautiful face shining in the moonlight. I heard the song change from inside the house. (Moonlight which is magically placed up there). She smiled and started humming with the song. She stood up and started walking towards the water. I got up and started following her. 

"It's really pretty tonight," she said staring at the moon. 

"Yeah," I said turning towards her. 

"I can't do this," she laughed. 

"I can't watch you be with her and be okay," she said looking at me. 

"I'm going crazy," she laughed again, "I just need to do this one thing." 

She grabbed my chin and placed her soft lips on mine. I was shocked at first but then pulled her closer her to me. 

"Maya and Lucas," I head Riley yell from behind me. 

Well, we're dead.
