"Yeah," the other one said. He looked identical to the first one. "This poor girl is going to have a heat stroke." I looked up at him, still slightly out of breath. "Here's some water," he said, grinning slyly at me as he handed me a water bottle. "I'm little Wonnikins' brother by the way, George," he added.

"Yeah, and I'm Fred," the first twin cut in. I took the water from George, muttering a "thanks" and took three large gulps. I sighed afterwards, handing it back to him.

"Hey, guys, nice to meet you. I'm Sierra," I said. My heart rate was slowly starting to return to normal.

"Oh we know," Fred said. "Harry and Ron have said a lot about you, even though you three only met about three days ago. They told us your heroic story of how you saved them from Malfoy." I laughed slowly, glancing at Potter and Weasley as they blushed.

"Harry also said that you just simply had to come see what we were going to show them, even though I said it wasn't really anything," George said, winking at Potter. I shifted uncomfortably on the grass.

"Oh uh," I stuttered. "W-well what is it, then?" I was a bit weirded out that Potter had been so eager to have me here. But that didn't really mean anything, did it? I mean, he just thought I would like it. If anything it was just...nice. Fred and George's grins widened and from Fred's robes, they took out a jar of fish. I wrinkled my nose and scooted away from them. It smelled gross.

"What the heck is that for?" Weasley asked, looking disgusted as well.

"Hey, it's necessary for what we're going to show you," George said, putting his hands up.

Fred extended the jar towards me and I squealed, backing away. He chuckled. "Only playing with you, Miss Slytherin," he said, winking at me. I rolled my eyes but smiled anyway. These two boys were just so likable.

George took the jar and opened it, taking out a single small fish. He crawled on his knees closer to the edge of the lake and held the fish over the water. It was silent for a moment as he stayed in that position. I couldn't help but start to laugh. "What?" he asked, grinning and looking over at me, away from the lake.

"You just look really funny like that," I giggled. "Can you imagine what everyone else who's looking at this is thinking?" I laughed louder, causing the twins to laugh as well.

"Yeah mate," Fred agreed. "You do look a bit weird." They laughed harder and George's eyes squinted closed from how much he was laughing. None of us noticed the skinny tentacle that was rising out of the lake, towards the fish being held out by George, until it had wrapped around it.

I stopped laughing and gasped. "George!" I yelled. He looked at the fish and instead of panicking or yelling in fright as I had thought, he exclaimed, "Oh look it's working!"

"It's working?" Weasley yelled. "What do you mean it's working?! Get your hand away from there before the squid yanks you in and makes you lunch!"

George stayed where he was, releasing the fish. The tentacle sank back into the water, but not long after, an even larger and thicker tentacle shot out, splashing water onto us. I yelped in fright as the cold water soaked my robes and hair. I looked up open mouthed and wide eyed as the tentacle rose high into the air and then hung over us, right in front of George's face.

"That was quick, Barry," Fred said. I looked at him as if he was mad, because that's what he seemed like when he said that. Who was Barry?

"Uh-- who's Barry?" Potter asked. Him and I looked at each other, and then back at the squid tentacle. I was surprised this wasn't causing a whole bunch of attention.

"Well the squid of course," George said in a tone that made it seem as if this were common knowledge.

"The Giant Squid?" I gasped as I stared at the tentacle, which slid into the jar and took another fish, throwing it into the water itself.

"Yep, he's really a nice bloke," Fred assured. "Isn't that right, Barry?" The tentacle shook up and down slowly, as if nodding.

"So this is what you were going to show us?" Weasley asked, looking up at Barry's tentacle in awe. "Barry?"

"Yep," George responded proudly. "Pretty cool, huh?"

"Yeah," I breathed. Barry reached over towards me and curled around a bit of my hair, raising it up and then dropping it. I giggled and he poked my nose lightly.

"Awe, he likes you," George cooed. I laughed again and Potter chuckled. Barry turned on him and poked his shoulder. Potter petted him awkwardly. He looked up at me and without even realizing it, I smiled at him. I quickly caught myself and looked down. At least I'm doing a good job at pretending I'm their friend, I thought to myself. Yeah...'pretending' another voice in my head said, not my father thankfully. I shook away my inner conflicting thoughts and as soon as I looked back up, I spotter Draco walking towards us.

"Hey Sierra," Fred said. "Isn't that your boyfriend?" Potter and George snapped their heads in Draco's direction and Weasley spat, "Boyfriend?"

"Oh no," I cut in quickly. "He's not my boyfriend. He's my bestfriend. I've lived with him all my life."

"Don't know how you could've stood it," Potter growled darkly. I raised my eyebrows at him as Draco approached.

"Sierra! What are you doing?"

Barry had already plunged back into the water. "Oh I just came to see something," I said with a shrug. Draco was glaring at the other four Gryffindors.

"Okay, well now that you're done, let's go." His angry eyes landed back on me.

"You think you can just order her around or what?" George snapped, his eyes narrowing.

"I'm not ordering her around, Weasley," Draco gritted out. "She just needs to come with me, her friends are looking for her."

"It's alright, George," I said, placing a hand on his shoulder and raising myself up. I dusted the stray blades of grass off of my robes and told all of them, "See you guys later, that was cool by the way." I nodded to the twins and they grinned at me. "Bye you two," I told Potter and Weasley and they waved at me. I turned back to Draco and started walking back to the castle.

He shot them one more glare before following me and placing an arm around my shoulders. "Why were you with them?" he hissed lowly in my ear.

"Remember what my father told me to do?"

"Yeah, he said get to know them, not hang out with them all the time," he retorted.

"No, he said to get to know him and all of his friends. I can't do that if I don't hang out with them a little. And what do you mean all the time? This is the first time I've hung out with them in like four days," I fumed defensively, shrugging him off of me. "You just need to calm down, okay? I know what I'm doing."

"Do you really?" he asked. "What if Potter starts..." He trailed off, glaring ahead of us as we walked up the castle steps. "Never mind."

"No, tell me," I commanded, stopping us at the door and turning to him. He avoided my gaze. "Tell me, Draco."

"Forget it," he muttered.

"Sierra! There you are!" Airam exclaimed, rushing up to us with Jalen at her side. "Come on! Crabbe is stuck under his bed and you're the only one who may know a spell to get him out! I don't know how he got in there, but it's actually pretty funny."

I looked away from Draco and towards the two girls. Jalen's eyes drifted back and forth from Draco and I suspiciously but Airam's were glued to me. I forced out a laugh. "Well, lets go!" I said, racing into the school, down the corridor, and towards the dungeons with Airam and Jalen right behind me and Draco sprinting grumpily after us.
