Till Eternity

His name is Ryan. Cedrick said he met an accident which took his life. But one day she overheard his neighbors talking about  Ryan being murdered.

When she asked him about him, he got really angry and told her to forget about those rumors and lies. And she did. She did not  asked again after that.

One time, when Cedrick visited her at home, she caught him staring on her brother's photo. His face was tight and when she  asked him, he answered,  "I just missed my own brother."

He loves his brother so much.. she thought.

Their relationship is perfect.. or maybe.. that's just what she thought.....

11:00 AM

Everyody's ready for the most awaited moment.

Kylie arrived exactly 11 AM. She's not surprised that Cedrick's not around yet.

Minutes passed, and so did hours. She's already panicking.

It's already 1 PM.

"Where he could possibly be?"

His cellphone is unattended.

Even  the visitors felt that there's someting strange.

"No.. No.. He's coming. Maybe another emergency but.. he's coming.. yes.. yes.. I know he will.. He's just two hours late."

Everybody's now murmuring and whispering.

"Where's the groom?"

"What happened?"

It's 3 PM. She had enough.

She wiped her tears away and steppped outside the car.

"Everyone! Thank you for coming.. but this wedding is off. Sorry for keeping you waiting. Again, thank you."

She felt betrayed.

Betrayed by her own life.

By her own world.

By her own man.

It was a tragedy. She felt suicidal.

It was the most painful day in her life.

After that, she never saw Cedrick again. And she swore there is no forgiveness for what he did to her.

She cursed him. Even herself..

.. for being such a fool.

* AND TWO YEARS PASSED EASILY *

Kylie was driving her car home that afternoon when suddenly, she heard a lound bang.

She was so shocked to see another car clashed into her bumper.

"Oh my goodness! You should have been more careful!" She screamed.

"Oh no.. Miss I'm so sorry!" said a voice from behind.

A familiar voice...

"What do you think....... YOU?!"

She felt her heart skipped a beat, like she will explode any minute.

Playful fate. Look who's infront of her. The man who left her without leaving any explanation. The man who broke her heart  into pieces.

A funny joke isn't it? A very funny joke.

"Kylie? It's been a long time, how are you?"

He's still the same. The handsome and cruel Cedrick she'd known.

"Huh. I admire your courage to ask me that question! If you'll excuse me.. I'm in a hurry. But if you really wanna know.. I'm  perfectly fine!" she said sarcastically.

"Please.. Please.. can we talk just for a minute?" he begged.

"Are you out of your mind?!! Talk?! About what?! Because the last time I checked we're over. We're over since the day you left  me behind. And I believe we have nothing to discuss!" she's frantically shaking now.

"Look.. I'm not asking you to forgive me. I know what I did was not a thing you can easily forgive. But it's true that I loved you.  And I still do --"

"Liar!!" she cut him off.

"Let me finish. I beg of you. The things I told you, they were all true. My feelings, my life! Remember my brother.. Ryan? He...  He was killed." His face suddenly hardened.

"Oh, so your using the 'pity-on-me' card. You're a big time liar. He met an accident. That's what you told me. Do you think I'm  an idiot??"

"NO. He was killed and I'm not lying." he paused.

and continued,

"by a group of men in a fraternity. He refused to join the group and so they tortured him. He was a college student then. He  tortured him till he lost his life. He died in hazing. And the leader of that fraternity group.. is.. LUIGI CRUZ. Your own  brother."

"Oh please stop it! Are you crazy?! I don't want to hear a thing from you anymore! Are you that desperate to invent such story?!  And now you're even accusing my brother!" she shouted hysterically.

"No I'm not. It was all planned. The first time I talked to you, he day I courted you, the day I proposed to you. It was all  meant to be a ploy. All I want was revenge to you brother and justice to mine but I ended up falling inlove with you. And that  was not part of my plan. My last ace was to leave you on our wedding day. You don't know how I felt when I decided to do it."  he said while crying.

She couldn't stop her own tears from falling.

"You are the first and last man I have ever loved. You don't know what I have been through after you left me. I don't know  how to face the world. You don't know how miserable I became. I felt like I was going crazy. I locked myself. They even sent a  psychiatrist for me to recover. But where are you? You are nowhere to find. I found myself crazy before but not anymore.. that  was then. You hurt me more than I deserved, how can you be so cruel? I loved you more than you deserve, why am I such a  fool?"

"I'm sorry.. I know I'm a jerk but please--"

"Shut up!! Get the hell out of my life! I'm through with you!"

She turned around but he grabbed her hand and kneeled.

"Don't leave. I hate to see you misera--"

"Miserable?! Because of you?! Nah! Not anymore. Don't flatter youyrself! Maybe I should leave."

She took her  hand and pushed him away.

"Goodbye. I hope not to see you again.."

"Kylie!! Kylieeeee!!! Wait!!!"

Feeling her heart as cold as ice, she left him knowing that'll be the last time they'll see each other..

Finally, it was her turn to walk away.

She looked at her reflection in the mirror. Perfect. Her eyes are full of sorrow. Her lips' pale. Like a sheet of paper.

It was written all over the news. After their confrontation, Cedrick shot himself.

Then she headed off to the burial, of the man she loved the most..
