Chapter 1. The Lost Are Found, Sort Of ~Hazel~

Start from the beginning

Like yesterday, I told him that I was hanging out with all the girl's. We were playing Truth or Dare and Thalia was Dared to find a boyfriend by the end of the week. We already knew she had a crush on someone. Lady Artemis had revoked her being Second-In-Command and banished her from The Hunter's.

The reason, she won't tell me. She said it wasn't her fault and that she was blamed by a girl who was jealous that she wasn't Second-In-Command. So ever since then, she had been staying at Camp Half-Blood. When I told Nico about all of that, he had had a new spring in his step. I'm not sure if he just missed her because they were friends, or if maybe...no never. I mean, Thalia is such a tomboy. All the guys think of her as one of the guys. Maybe I should talk to Nico about it. I cleared my throat.

"Hey Nico, I have a question." He looked at me, waiting.

"Do you think Thalia will be able to get a boyfriend by tomorrow?" I asked. Nico blushed slightly and the cornor's of his mouth perked up.

"Maybe. I mean, I've talked to some of the guys and they think she's pretty cute." I nodded.

"Nico, you know you can be honest with me, right?" I said. He nodded.

        "I know you like Thalia."

"Wwwwhhhhaaatttt?" he said trying not to sound strange. I looked at him with serious eye's.

"Alright, alright. I like her, alright? But she would never like a guy like me. I'm the son of the God of Death."

"Well then I guess you don't want me to tell you what she said about you yesterday-"

"-WHAT DID SHE SAY!" he exclaimed.

"Well yesterday when she passed you, she said you looked really hot in your aviator jacket. I laughed, then she said she was serious. I told her to ask you out, then she said she was afriad f making the first move. Last time she did that, let's just say it didn't end well. You're welcome," I said getting up.

I walked over to the campfire. Jason was sitting with Leo. Leo's sling was still on his arm. Leo grabbed something out from it. It was long and wrapped in a dirty cloth. Jason unwrapped it. His eye's became watery. Leo put his free arm around him. The item in Jason's hands glimmered dark red. It was Piper's dagger, Katopris, covered in blood. I felt really bad for him. Even worse for Leo. I was the only one he had told about Calyapso. It's been three years and he still hasn't figured out how to get back to her. Then there was the whole thing with Katie Gardener. He didn't like her like that, but she seriously liked him. And Travis. And Travis liked her back. But she just can't chose. I recommended Travis. I walked over to Thalia who was sitting by herself. She smiled.

        "Sup," she said.

"OPERATION NICO is a-go!" I whispered. That was our code-name for it. She actually really liked Nico.

"Really?" she asked. I nodded. I turned and saw Nico coming toward her.

"I'm just gonna go find Frank, Nico's coming." I walked away from her and toward the archery center. It was mostly empty except for a few Apollo kid's. They were seriously good at shooting. Even a girl named Luna, who was only six. She was small, with long black hair and matching eye's. She wore an old fashioned red polka-dot dress and matching red bow holding her ponytail. She got a bulls-eye every time with a plastic bow. The arrows she used had suction cups instead of metal arrowheads. It was so cute to see her so happy with herself.

I walked up to her and said, "Good job Luna! Do you know where Frank is?" She pointed toward the locker room. I nodded and sat down on the nearest bench to wait for him. I hummed a tune, waiting for him.

After a few minute's, he came out with some Apollo boy's. His hair was dripping water on his shirt, like he had taken a shower. He was wearing a black tight fitting shirt, showing his muscles. Part of them he had gotten from The Blessing of Mars and part from him working out 24/7. I have muscles. Alright, that was a lie. I am nothing but skin and bones.

But I'm pretty strong. One time at the boxing ring, one of Frank's brother's bet he could pin me down. Frank refused to do it, but I told him to go ahead and try. Now, I might be small and frail, but I'm fast. I dodged all of his attempts to pin me, then knocked him down from under his feet, pinning him down in under 15 seconds. His brothers and sisters gave me a lot more respect after that. Clarisse most of all. He smiled when he saw me.

His friends made kissing faces and laughed. I blushed, and Frank did too. The boys left, leaving us alone. He slowly walked toward me. I smiled and looked down at the ground. I didn't look up until I felt his arms around my waist. He had purple and blue bags under his eye's. I put my arms around his neck.

"How much sleep did you get while on the quest?" I asked.

"Not a lot," he yawned. I thought for a moment.

"You know, Nico is going to visit our dad tonight. So, I have the cabin to myself. Maybe you could...spend the night?" I asked. He didn't answer for a second, then smiled.

"Sure, but I'll have to sneak in. I'll tell my siblings I'm going to stay in Percy's cabin. But I'll tell Pery to cover for me." He kissed my forehead and walked out of the building. I ran to my cabin to clean it up. Well actually, both Nico and I were organized people. I just had to straighten a few things up and change into my pajama's. I put on a black tank top and grey shorts that came to my mid thigh. I went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth and brushed my hair. I heard a quiet knock on my door. I giggled and ran to the door I fixed my hair quickly, checked my breath and opened the door.
