Kion nodded. "Yeah. It's too much to explain Maha. Just leave Kiara alone to solve it with her husband. I'm about to go to my private cave and let Aala and the kids know that I'm back home."

"Alright."

We hug. Kion exit the cave getting soaked once again in the rain. I turn around walking back to the girls. Makosa is laying next to Bahiya going to sleep. Auni and Mila are gossiping. Ishara and Kisima are listening to their gossip while cuddling. I take a spot not too far from them and laid down.

I really do hope things are okay with Kiara and Kovu...

••••••

The sun filtered through the clouds, signaling the end of the rain. The sun shone brilliantly and the water in the pond glittered invitingly.  Upon the petals sit a hundred beads of water, each one a perfect sphere, brilliant in the morning rays.

Each drop sits so lightly, yet together they are enough to cause the bloom to bow toward the earth. So delicate is the flower that even these scatterings of dew are significant.

Soon the gentle heat of the morning will send them back to the clouds and the bloom will raise its head, calling to the summer bees.

I open my teal colored eyes with a yawn and roll over onto my right side. I look around and see a few spots empty. Ishara, Makosa, Bahiya, and Kovu are all gone. Busy morning duties I perhaps? I then look across the cave and see Kiara still sound asleep.

Hmmm that's strange. She's always up at this hour!

Any who, I got up with a stretch and head out the cave. Today its my turn to join the hunting party. We now rotate who gets to hunt when and what. Kisima doesn't get to join since she's done enough this week. It's only me, Mila, and Auni. I don't think Bahiya will be attending due to whatever had happened yesterday evening.

It's like everyone is hiding a secret away from me and the whole Pride. I am the Queen's sister for crying out loud! I do believe I deserve to know what's going on.

I frown at the thought while walking down Pride Rock. At the bottom I meet up with Auni, Mila, and the rest of the hunting party.

"Good morning ladies!" I greet.

"Good morning, Maha!" They all greet in unison.

"I guess Bahiya isn't joining us huh?" Mila asks me.

I shrug. "I guess not. She wasn't in the cave when I woke up. Probably had some duties to do im sure with Makosa and Kovu. They weren't there either!"

"Wow. I'm starting to think there's something out there that they're not telling us." Said Auni.

Mila snorts while rolling her eyes. "Probably don't want to scare us about that lion again or a hyena. I ain't afraid of neither!"

"We know." I laugh.

The hunting party moves off following behind the lead huntress Karima.

Mila takes my left side while Auni takes my right. I walk between them as we enter inside the hunting grounds. Many herds are around. So many options to choose from!
