"that looks amazing on you layla!" sohpia claps her hands. "don't you think so colby?" 

"yeah, layla. it's looks really good" she nods, then checks out herself in the full size mirror all of us were looking at in the dressing room.  "i love this skirt" she says to herself as she rides it up. "bryce will love it too" she smirks. 

sophia rolls her eyes. "colby, would you mind not talking about your boyfriend" she sighs. "layla is having a bit of issues with her's" she says more quietly. 

"whatevs" colby waves her off then fluffs her dull red hair. "i'm gonna go try on the dress i picked out" she excuses herself and goes back into her dressing stall. 

"don't mind her.. she's convinced they are in love, when really" she sighs. "they are more like friends with benefits" she whispers. 

i nod blankely, not wanting to get too into this conversation and ruining colby's semi-good mood by her over hearing us. 

"i don't really like it" i shrug, tugging down the mini skirt i had on. "it's not.. me" 

"well that's why we're here. for you to figure out what your style is" she nods. "so that means mimi skirts are out.. bummer" 

"i'm more of a jeans and sweatshirts with my black vans" i shrug. 

she sighs. "and there's no way i can change your mind about that?"

"nope" i shake my head. 

"okay. well then if you're into jeans and hoodies we might as well just hurry up here and go to hollister.. or aeropostile" 

"okay" i nod and we both go back into our changing stalls.

"$123.57, please" the peppy brunett cashier said. 

sophia pulled out the credit card that she's used for all the stores and gave it to the girl with a ponytail. 

"how are you even paying for all this? we've spent at least $1,000 today" i gape.

she shrugs with a smile. "Alex takes care of me" 

"who's alex?" 

"m--"

"her boyfriend" colby cuts her off. a smirk on her face. "i thought we weren't supposed to talk about our boyfriends soph" she says innocently, but her smirk is pure evil. 

sophia groans and takes back her card from the girl. "thanks" she says and takes the bags, handing colby hers. i only had one bag, since i only got three shirts and a necklace with a dream catcher pandant. 

"now.. to the boys!" colby said excitedly, walking faster than me and sohpia. 

"sorry about that" sohpia says quietly, while looking down at her feet as we walk through the mall. 

"about what?" 

"mentioning alex" 

i laugh. "it's nothing, really. i have no problem with you guys talking about your boyfriends, and i expect you to tell meall about how you guys met" 

she laughs and looks up. "of course"

"how about we talk about it some funnel cake"

"after we go to hollister" 

"definitely" we both laugh and she hooks our arms as we catch up to colby.
