Chapter twenty: "Reject me! Don't marry me!"

Negina was stuck in his grip as he waited for her to answer. "I'm marrying you!" He says angrily.

"Khalid, if you really love me then do me a favor." Negina says biting her lip. "Give up on me." Negina whispers.

His grip doesn't get any less tight, "what?"

"Reject me. Don't marry me!" Negina says and this time she was the one yelling right in his face.

Khalid stares at her. Seconds later he kisses her with force to make her realize that he will marry her and that he will take her. "Never," He says resting his forehead on hers and closes his eyes.

Negina wanted to cry. She didn't want to marry him. She didn't want to ruin a beautiful relationship between Khalid and Jasmine. She couldn't do that to Jasmine. But more importantly she couldn't do it to the people who were in support of them.

"Khalid, I can't." Negina whispers with her eyes closed.

"Why?" Khalid asks.

So Negina replies the first thing that comes to mind. "I love another." She says with her voice breaking and not daring to open her eyes and look into his.

"Who is it?" Khalid asks annoyed. "Who is it Negina? Answer me!" He yells.

Negina does answer she keeps her eyes closed because she doesn't have an answer. She didn't love another man, she only loved him. Khalid Malik was her only love. A few tears fall from her closed eyes.

"Is Sediq isn't it. Your such a slut, a whore!" Khalid yells in Negina's face and Negina vegans to shed real tears.

"No wonder your running away from me. You love that fucker!" He continues to explode his anger.

"No wonder you were bullied in high school, you deserve it!" He yells pushing on Negina's shoulders.

The alcohol and anger mixes into Khalid's and he takes a grasp into Negina's hair with both hands and lead. He pushes the door open and leads Negina. With a thud Negina falls onto the bed. In an attempt to get up, Khalid pushes Negina back down onto the black comforter and places his hand over her chest, and doesn't let her stand up. Negina lets out a loud yell, wishing for someone to hear her and come rescue her.

Khalid pulls down Negina's sweatpants as she forces his hands away from herself, continuously yelling for help.

"No!" Negina yells. Khalid glares at her and he slaps her hard on the cheek, "no one says no to me." He says threateningly. In the matter of minutes Negina is disowned. Disowned by her family because she just got her virginity taken away.

He stripped away Negina's self-worth, later by layer until there was non left of her personality. Yet, Negina never forgot about the girl who she used to be. She lived inside, her caged soul, waiting for the day Negina would set her free. Casting her light into Negina's dark mind, hoping that she would see, flashes of better life, glimpses of possibility, Negina would never be alone. Even after this. Because that girl inside of her we lived in Negina.

Negina lay under the covers with the experience that just happened stuck in her head. She couldn't believe it. How could she be so foolish to let him do that.

He was stronger.

I could've fought back.

He didn't let you.

He was dunk.

I could've pushed him away, I could've tried harder.

"You are no man." Negina says starring at Khalid but at the same time hearing her own voice broke her into tears. He voice is the voice of a slut, a whore, a girl that just got raped. "No real man rapes a woman."

"Don't put the blame on me. Look at you, you basically asked for it." Khalid says getting close to her face and culling her cheek, "Your soft yells were calling for me."

"I told you no." Negina says with her voice threateningly breaking into a fit.

"No one says no to me." Khalid says before standing up and pulling his pants back on.

"I believe she just did."

Khalid looks behind him to see who that male was and Negina pulls the grey sheets against her skin even tighter. She didn't know who he was, she couldn't see him because of Khalid's tall and broad figure.

"Oh look who came." Khalid says smirking. And moves aside for Negina to see.

Negina anxiously looks up to which angel could have saved her soul from embarrassment and shame if he had just arrived a few minutes ago.

It's was him, he saved Negina for the second time now.

Sediq.

"What did you fucking do!" Sediq yells at Khalid. His eyes were in rage as he pushed Khalid out of the way to look at Negina. He shouldn't have. It was haram to do that, and Sediq knew it. But yet, he still did it.

"I did what any other real man would've done." Khalid says clutching his just hurt jaw.

"You are no man. No real man rapes an innocent woman!" Sediq yells glaring at Khalid.

"Well, you could have a turn now that... you know she's officially belongs to me." Khalid says with his twisted smirk playin on his lips.

"If you think that Negina is any less pure than before just because you touched her. I think you should take a look at your hands." Sediq says.

Negina was so confused. What had just happened to her? Why is Sediq defending her? What the hell would happen now?

Sediq, seeing Negina in that condition, knees Khalid in his private area that Negina just saw and felt a few minutes ago.

Khalid falls on the bed with a groan escaping from his mouth.

Well, what was Sediq doing at the Malik's household? I guess we'll find out.
