My Second Chance Part 2 Chapter 8

“Everyone Out! Now!”

“What the hell Anna we are having a meeting.” Ace said. I glared at him.

“I”M GOING TO KILL YOU” I yelled.

“Someone's in trouble.” Lance teased  making everyone laugh.

“I need to talk to you.”

“We are almost done.” They turned back to Ace and ignored me. I picked the lamp up and threw it at his head. Damn he's fast, it almost hit him.

“What the hell is your problem?”

“I don't like to be ignored.” I answered.

“Guys give me a minute, I'll be right back.” We walked to the room in silence. I didn't talk because I was trying to control my anger.

“What's so important?”

“I’m pregnant.”

“What? How did this happen?”

“You tell me! You said that you used protection, we agreed to wait a year.”

“I-Uh.. Kind of lied.” He said while rubbing the back of his neck.

“YOU WHAT?”

“Calm down! I shouldn't have to use a condom with my own mate.”

“You son a bitch you did this on purpose!” He smirked.

“This isn't funny Ace! I don't want to quit my job I love it there.”

“You can go back after the baby turns one.”

“Get out and don't come back!”

“Anna you're over reacting.”

“No I’m not. You're not the one who is going to be moody, fat and have to push out a big ass baby!” I yelled.

“Come here.”

“No. Leave me alone Ace I'm going out.”

“Where?”

“None of your business.” I just wanted to be alone. I needed time to process this. I trusted him, he knew exactly how I felt and did what he wanted.

“Anna! Omg hey honey how have you been?”

“Hi Mrs Hopkins.”

“I missed you. I was so worried about you, where have you been?”

“I found my mate, had a baby and one on the way.”

“Oh dear that's great. Where is the baby?”

“He's back at the pack house.” I showed her pictures from my phone.

“He's handsome. He also looks like the alpha.”

“That's because he's the father.” Her eyes widened.

“You’re the alphas mate? That means that you... Oh I’m so sorry you went through all of that.” She hugged me.

“It's OK. I came to see you and the animals. I wish the pack house wasn't so far, I miss you and this place.”

“Go on back then I'll take you to see Tom and get you and the baby fed.”

I went to the back. I've always loved animals and they make great listeners. I kind of zoned out when I got back there. I did want my baby, I loved him or her already. It's just that I hate sitting around not doing anything, it makes feel useless. Not to mention that witch is out there with Liam that's a double dose of crazy.
