It had been 6 months since I had been told I was diagnosed with cancer, and it was likely I could die any day now. I had been released from the hospital because everything was going ok, but I knew that wasn't going to stop my death from happening.  My boyfriend of 4 years, Harry Styles, held my hand through everything. Even though I walked in on him crying every now and again, he smiled at me like nothing was wrong. One day, Harry and I were walking when I turned to him. "What are you going to do when I'm gone?" I asked quietly. He looked at me with hurt in his eyes. "Don't talk like that, Sel. You're not going to die," He whispered to me, then kissed me softly on my nose. I nodded quietly, a short sob escaping my lips. Harry pulled me in, hugging me tightly. "I love you," He whispered. I looked at him,"I love you too," I said so softly, I'm suprised he could hear me. We stood there, hugging, for what felt like forever before I turned to Harry.

"Harry?"

"Yes?"

"I want to make sure I live my last moments having fun and being with you," I said to him. Harry looked at me with pain in his eyes, nodding. "Whatever you want, I will get for you." He said. "How about we go do something? Like, see a movie?" I suggested. "Yeah sure, you can pick which movie." Harry replied, smiling.

When Harry and I got in to the movie and found our seats, we chatted quietly until the movie started. Halfway through, the main character got diagnosed with cancer. You've got to be kidding me, I thought. Harry turned to me,"Hey, I don't think you should be seeing this. We should go now," He whispered, being protective. "No, Harry, it's fine. I can watch it, trust me. I'm okay," I whispered back. He gave me a hesitant look, not sure whether he should believe me or not. It was a good movie, until the ending. The character with cancer died in their lover's arms, which was beginning to make me cry. Not because of the scene, but because knowing that would be me in a short time. I didn't want Harry to see me crying, so I got up and ran out of the theater. I ran into the bathrooms, scared of Harry finding me. I didn't want him to see me like this. After a while, Harry burst in. "Selena! I have been looking for you, why did you run out like that?" He cried out. I shook my head. "I'm gonna die! There's no denying that, Harry!" I cried on the floor. Harry sat down next to me and put his arm around me, pulling me close. "No matter what happens, Sel, I will always love you. You mean more to me than anything else. I will always love you," He promised with tears spilling out of his eyes. He kissed the top of my head, then started to rub my back softly. I started to sob more. "It's okay, I will be here with you as long as you want me to. I promise," He said. I sniffled, looking up at him. "Stay with me forever, Harry." I whispered quietly. He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. "Forever," He agreed.

6 Months later...

"And here we are, recognizing Selena Marie Brown who has sadly passed away from an unfortunate illness. We will always remember her in our thoughts, and we will forever love her in our hearts." The pastor said sadly. A single tear slipped out of Harry's eyes as he looked at the picture of Selena sitting next to the casket. He stifly walked forward, eyes focused on the picture. He kissed the rose in his hand, then layed it down next to the casket. Along with the wedding ring he had meant to give her, but didn't get the chance to. A few more tears slipped out. Harry looked at the picture one last time. "Forever," He agreed.
