Arriving at Sindria, Sinbad prepared the finest bed in the grand greenhouse centered a distance away from the loud and busy castle. Flowers of all kinds - mostly white lilies - blossomed around the canopy bed, silk transparent curtains hanging down from the top of the bed as it waved softly in the wind. Kouen placed Lucy on top of the bed where she continued to lay, sleeping, with no sign of waking up any time soon.
Exiting the garden, much to Kougyoku's urging, Kouen returned back to the main castle at Sindria. They had all gathered and had been waiting for him to begin discussing what they should do with the girl.
"I don't see anything wrong with her," Sharrkan said, throwing his arms behind his head. "I don't get why you guys are all worked up over something like this. Isn't she just a regular human?"
"Sharrkan, you really should work your brain a little," Yamraiha remarked.
"I only said what was on my mind," he said.
"Would a regular human just appear from the sea in a floating flower out of nowhere?" she retorted.
Sharrkan narrowed his eyes at her before ignoring what she had said. She did have a point. Looking around the room, they all had a rather complex feeling towards the girl that they had just found but regardless, one thought resonated through all their minds. She was mysterious.
"In any case, we should first gather information on her first," Ja'far said.
"But we barely know where she came from," Hinahoho looked at Ja'far. "Is it possible to even track her origin down?"
"There's no human that's born without an origin," Spartos commented.
"If we can't, we'll just interrogate her when she wakes up," Ja'far said simply.
"Hey, isn't that a bit too rushed?" Kougyoku narrowed her eyes, not liking their attitude in treating the girl. "She might just be a stranger and we might not know where she came from but 'interrogating' her? Since when did she become a criminal?"
"Pisti agrees," the young general voiced her opinion, distaste in her eyes. "She's just a normal young girl. Do we have to treat her so harshly?"
"Precautions come first," Ja'far answered.
"Ja'far, you're too wary of people," Pisti argued.
"Then what do you suggest we do?" Ja'far furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Pisti in displeasure.
"I say we just leave her to us," Kouha said. "If you guys dare to try to do anything with her, I will be there to protect her. One slight suspicious movement and your head will start rolling."
Ja'far looked at the Ren siblings. "Is this a declaration of war?"
"It might as well be if you guys do anything unjust to her," Koumei stood up, holding his fan close to him.
Ja'far and the others widened his eyes. He stared at them in disbelief. He knew very well of the logical tactics that the Kou Empire used to reap the greatest benefits but seeing them standing here all protecting the mysterious girl that they didn't even know a thing about, he was at a loss for words. She was but a girl who had appeared out of nowhere and for all they know, she could be an enemy. Yet, here they were, defending her without hesitation.
"Hey, calm down guys," Alibaba said, not liking the stiff atmosphere.
"Alibaba-kun's right," Aladdin agreed and tried lightening the mood. "Aren't you guys becoming a little too worked up over this?"
"Very," Morgiana said, Masrur also nodding his head.
They all looked at one another and sighed, sitting back down. They were getting a little too worked up over this.
