(Yuri's POV)
I finish the last of my packing and I fall on my bed. I put my arms above my head to examine them.
They are covered in bandages with a few areas have some dried blood peaking through the layers.
I sigh in regret.
This hurts. I shouldn't have done this.
I grab my grey hoodie from the bed beside me and pull myself up to a sitting position. I throw the hoodie over my head and push my arms through its sleeves.
The memory of the events with Victor flash through my mind.
I slump over in a panic and my face goes completely red.
Did I have a hallucination? There is no way that that happened. Was I just jerking off and had a really vivid picture in my mind? No... no... it definitely happened. I've never felt like that before.
A soft knock echoes through my small room.
"Yuri open up."
It's Victor.
I sigh and reach a shaky hand towards the door.
When he enters my room he notices my embarrassed face.
"What are you embarrassed about?" He asks with his accent especially thick.
"U-uhm I... I was just thinking about what happened... a-and got uhm nervous."
He smirks and pushes me against the wall. "Did you enjoy it?"
My face glows a deeper red which I had thought was impossible.
I nod and look away.
He grabs my face and makes me look at him.
He inches his lips closer to me just centimetres away.
"V-Vic-"
He closes the gap and crashes his lips against mine.
All of my anxiety is lifted in an instant as I wrap my arms around him deepening the kiss.
It catches him off guard but the corners of his lips perk up.
He pulls away and moves to my neck. He licks a trail from my collar bone to my ear.
I squeak in shock.
He bites down on my neck and sucks leaving a deep red mark.
I try to move away but he comes back up to my lips.
"Are you feeling better Yuri?"
I nod and he wraps his arms around me in an embrace.
"If you want more of that you'll have to wait until we get to Siberia. Now. Shall we go downstairs."
I nod and sheepishly grab his hand for support.
He gives my hand a squeeze. Our hands interlock so perfectly like it was meant to be.
He leads me out of my room holding my bag for me.
I smile up at him though he doesn't notice. He just keeps pulling me foreword. His hair breezing backwards due to the speed.
He guides me down the stairs and I notice a group standing by the door.
"Hey Yuri, We thought that you should have a little going away party before you leave for Siberia." Takeshi says standing in the front.
I smile walking toward him for a hug.
Behind him I see Yuko and his three daughters Axel, Lux, and Loop.
I give them a small wave but they just look at me coldly.
"Why are you leaving Yuri?" They say in unison.
"U-u-uh i-i dont uhm-"
Victor placed his hand on the small of my back and gives all three of them a sharp expression. "That is none of your business. It doesn't matter why we're going it just-"
"WAIT!" Axel shouts cutting him off.
I look at him. He seems pissed.
"YOU BOTH ARE GOING!!?! But why. Yuri is a screw up and you are like a god when it comes to everything why-"
His anger shows on his face but I can tell that he is trying to remain composed.
"Don't speak about Yuri in such a way."
Takeshi cuts in with his meaty arms trying to break up the argument.
"Girls. Let's not be mean to Yuri, especially when you couldn't perform better than he does. Also, sorry about them Victor. They just-" he sighs "they just don't have a filter. I'm sorry."
Victor nods in understanding but still seems a bit ticked.
I interlock my pinky with his as a way to calm him but he just pulls away and walks off outside.
A lump begins to build in my throat.
What did I do wrong? D-does he not like me l-like I thought. I guess I was diluting myself from the start. I'm not special. Victor could never really love me.
I go off to the corner to talk to Yuko.
"Hey Yuri. Want some liquor?"
I nod and grab a glass of white wine.
"Why isn't my father here?"
She frowns and looks away. "He said he didn't want to come. He said... h-he said that you running away from your fate is stupid, a-and that you should just accept what Yakov wants."
I put my hand over my mouth in shock.
"D-dad really said that? H-he really wants me dead?"
Yuko shakes her head. "N-no. I don't think that's it. He hasn't been himself lately. Maybe he just-"
I shake my head. "No... no I don't care. I don't want any excuses. I just want to have a good time before I leave."
She nods in agreement.
I chug down the rest of the glass and talk to some of the others. Two hours flies by quickly and I decide to look for Victor.
I walk outside as the cold breeze hits my face I step off of the porch.
I turn my head and see him standing there with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
I walk up to him. "Mind if I have one?"
He shakes his head and pulls out the pack and pulls one out.
I take it and lean against the wooden exterior of my house.
He pulls out a lighter and sparks it up holding the flame to the end.
I take a deep drag and sigh watching the smoke trails leave my mouth making grey silhouettes in the sky.
"I-I'm sorry Victor. I thought that it would calm you d-"
"I'm the one who should apologise. I was just frustrated and I didn't want to be touched you know? I'm sorry. I shouldn't have rejected you like that."
I take another drag. "I'm not offended. I thought it was too good to be true anyway. I know you only did those things to calm me down. It's not like I mean anything any...way"
His hand slips into mine as he looks up at the night sky. The stars dot the deep blue with an array of patterns making pictures in the sky.
"Yuri... I came to Japan to kill you. On my flight over a realised that I couldn't. You're the one person in this world that I physically cannot harm. I won't let myself. I can't figure out why. I don't know if that means that I like you... or if I just want someone to hold close to me... I-I just don't want your existence to fade. I want you to stay alive. I-"
I reach a hand to the back of his head and pull his face downward to meet mine. I close my eyes and press my lips against his.
"Y-yuri?"
I smile and rub his shoulder.
"That was to help you with you're nerves."
He blushes.
I take a few more drags o my cigarette and then toss it into the bushes.
I want to stay with this man forever.Sup peeps. It's Kasper and thanks for reading. Hope you enjoyed.
