"Are you okay Emily, my dear?"The Professer asked giving me a look of concern.

"I'm fine. Better than fine actually."I replied in a voice that sounded like music, which made me laugh again, "Why do you ask?"

"That was an unnaturally short transition. Also you were unnaturally calm. You only screamed for less than 30 seconds, then you started smiling."Mr.Coal said looking concerned as well.

I laughed,"I'm seriously fine. I feel great!" They were spoiling my good mood.

"Emily? Emily I-I... Help?"Dexter moaned.

"Let me out of the chair, I have an idea."I said. My idea was to give Dexter a hug and remind him its all right, I wasn't sure if he was able to hear and feel at that moment. But him saying my name made me think he could.

"Are you sure?"Mrs.Crystal asked once I told them my idea.

"Yes. I'm positive."I was truly annoyed at them but I didn't get angry. When they finally undid my restraints I freaked myself out by moving supernaturally fast over to beside Dexter. He was perfect. His red hair was silky, he was amazingly beautiful but his face was twisted up in pain. I reached my arms around his body, gave him a big hug and told him I was there for him and that everything was alright. Where I was touching him I felt like there were little shocks, it was a wonderful feeling. I then got a strange feeling, like I was turning to jelly. I felt like how people always describe as falling in love. But I was to young, right? A 13 year old in love. Eh.

"Emily!"Dexter shouted making me scream.

"Dexter you scared me!" I said,"Are you o-- woah" I stopped in the middle of asking if he was alright because he opened his eyes. They were an amazing, deep, dark, royal purple.

"Emily... is that you?"Dexter was staring at me like he was amazed by my face and I knew I probably had a similar exspression on my face.

"Yes, yes, uuummmm..."I mumbled then shook my head,"Yes its me. Why do you ask?"

"You're eyes, you, you're beautiful."Dexter said. I had forgotten that I had changed too, I needed to look in a mirror or something.

"Hey do you think you could let me out?" Dexter asked tilting his head towards his hands.

"Yeah, yeah of course." I said and undid his restraints.

"GGGGEEEE-IIIIYYS!!! LOOKLOOKLOOK!!!"Mrs.Petal shouted as she skipped in dragging a huge mirror behind her. She was as excited as a 6 year old on christmas. "Look at yourselves! You two are the perfect statics!"

"What are statics?" I asked trying not to look in the mirror so I didnt get distracted.

"You'll find out soon enough."The Professer said,"Now look." He gestured towards the mirror. Standing in the mirror was a boy and girl who were not at all the same as the nerdy, lonely, sad children they were just the day before, just that morning even. They looked like models, perfect straight features and both had wonderful eyes. Different shades of purple, the boys dark and the girls bright, neon voilet. I slowly moved my right hand to my face, sliding down across the perfect arch of my new eyebrows, over the lid and lashes of my voilet right eye, grazing my cheek done to my chin. The girl in the mirror copied. I couldn't beleive that I was that beautiful girl. I looked down and blushed. I turned away from the mirror to relise that the others were awake and getting out of their chairs. Esme and Alexander were the closest to me and they wandered slowly over towards Dexter and I. They were perfect too. Alexander's eyes were dark, dark forest green and Esme's were bright, neon lime green. They stopped beside us staring at themselves in the mirror. After them came Ash and Gabriel. Ash's eyes were extremely bright orange and Gabriel's were such a dark orange colour I couldn't even name it. They stopped on the other side of us. Last to walk up were Aranea and Jeffory. Aranea had viberent pink eyes and Jeffory's eyes were burgundy. They stopped beside Esme and Alexander. That was a mental picture I'll have forever. The 8 of us standing there, in a line, matched into couples by the colour of our eyes.
