"Oh. You have no idea." I growled. I imagined myself behind him, and next thing I know, I'm behind him, but I'm also still stand where I was. It was like I was out of my body. Which, really want wrong. I went to bite down on his scruff and threw him into the couch I have just moved. And he actually did go flying. Oh, I like that 'power'. I smirked and went back to my body. I walked to Brian, who was still on the ground but now sitting up. I hit the side of his jaw, sending his face sideways, then pushing his chest so he fell back.
"Fuck!" He groaned as he hit his head on the corner of the glass coffee table. He got up as I approached again, but this time, he sent me flying. I flew across the room into the corner of the wall, hitting my back, hearing and feeling, a snap. I screamed in agony as I felt my back brake and being unable to move. "Am I winning yet?" Brian smirked as he sat in front of me. God I wish I could get up right now, but for now I'd have to take whatever he's going to throw at me.
"Bite me," and that did nothing but making him stand and put his bloody face close to mine. Clearly, he can't heal as fast as me. The claw marks were still bleeding from just a bit ago.
"Okay," he said and bit my scruff hard, making me wince. He picked me up and threw me towards the middle of the living room again. I whined as I landed with a thud, my back still trying to heal. I could feel it getting there, but not close enough for me to really do anything. He stocked over to me, the grin still on his face.
"Jon," Tyler cried.
"Shut it!" One of the guys said and punched him in the stomach.
"You mother fucker!" I yelled. I got up, not caring about the searing pain going through my back as I did so, and tried to run to him. When I tried, however, Brian pushed me into the coffee table. I landed on top, making the glass shatter, then having me land on top of it. I howled in pain and lay still. Brian sunk his claws into my back leg and drug me out from under the metal legs of the table, and through the glass, and stopped when I was in front of Tyler and the three masked guys. "Don't look Tyler," I told him when he tried to look. He wasn't before, but knowing I was there I knew he wanted to.
"Look at him!"
"Don't—"
"Look at him! Or I'll kill him in front of you. Screaming for me to stop!"
"He's bluffing! He needs me alive!" I said, earning a paw being pressed into my cut back, and a yell from me. That's what grabbed Tyler's attention and he looked. The paw was gone and so was the pain from my back. But not from my heart from the look on his face.
"So, did I win? Or do I have to continue?"
"Fuck. You," I growl. Brian quickly, but fucking painfully, slammed his paw into my back. It was gone as fast as it was there.
"Jon, I love you, but stop." Tyler pleaded, tears streaming down his face.
"Why should I?"
"Cause I don't want to see you hurt."
"But if there's a chance to kick his ass and keep you safe, I'm taking it."
"Jon please, I can't live with myself to see you hurt. Or kill!" I felt my back start to finish healing, but stopped when claws were drug down it. Deep and slowly. I screamed in pain, once again, and felt my heartbreak.
"Okay! Okay! I give!" I yelled, and the pain was gone. "I give up. You win." I panted, "I'll go with you, but let me say goodbye to him first."
"Fine." Brian changed back into his human form and motioned the others to let go and leave. Tyler dropped down and gave me a hug so tight it could kill someone. I did the best I could to hug back, my head holding him to me by his shoulder and my leg wrapping around his side.
"It's okay. It's okay," I whispered. "It'll be okay. I'll be fine, I promise."
"How do you know?" He cried.
"I just do," but the truth was, I didn't know. I didn't know what was going to happen to me. "Can you do me a favor though?" He nodded frantically, "talk to me. Don't leave me alone and talk to me. Well, you, think to me." I gave a shy chuckle. "I'll tell you when I'm coming back."
"Yea. But, how can we? You know how that actually has to work."
"I know, but remember. We're 'special' and I can use it with Evan. I can't with Craig anymore, for obvious reasons, but because we're different we can." I pulled us away and looked in him in the eyes. I kept thinking to him, can you hear me? Yea, it's dumb, but if starts to it'll work.
Eventually, like ten seconds later, yea. I can, he said. I smiled and gave him one last hug as I heard, "let's go!"
Tyler, run upstairs, jump out the window, and fly away. I'll be following. I don't trust them that they'll keep you alive.
But what if they shoot you? Can you even get up?
That's fine. They can't kill me though. They need me. And yes, I've had enough time to at least get up and run. Now, go! With that, Tyler ran off and I followed. There was shouting and footstep following. Some shots were fired but all missed. We made it to my room and Tyler jumped from the window. Flying off. I was about to go out as well, but was grabbed by the back of my neck and forced backwards.
"Where do you think you're going?" Brian said, punching me in the face. I acted as if I were knocked out and was then dragged away.
Jon? Where are you?
Don't worry. Just find the others. Tell me what happened and where they went okay? I promise, everything with be okay. I was then thrown into the back of a metal van. I knew, nothing good was going to happen, and I didn't even know if I was going to be okay. As the doors shut, I felt a waterfall of tears stream down my face. The thought of never seeing Tyler again was enough to make me want to end it all before I got to wherever I was being taken. But the small chance I would see him again, kept me from it. I love you Tyler. So much. More than you would ever know. Was the last thing I told him before passing out, letting my body heal.
