Eana: He's telling them about what happened, isn't he?

Taemin and Jongin evidently looked surprised. Taemin: Embarrassing?
Jongin: Embarrassing for you...? Or someone else. Jimin sighed.
Jimin: I wouldn't be this depressed if it was someone else... it was me.
Taemin's eyes widened.
Taemin: Quick! Tell us what happened.
Jimin covered his face with both his hands.
Jimin: I messed up in front of the girl I'm interested in.
Jongin: What?! How!
Jimin sighed.
Jimin: Basically, we were all at home a few days getting ready for dinner when she and another guy walked in together. I don't know why but I just got really upset? Jealous, maybe?
Jimin took a sip of water.
Jimin: I was really petty about a lot of things and pretty rude towards him. I drank a lot at the table that night and that was the last thing I remembered...

Jongshin: The poor guy doesn't even remember what he did.

[S.Q.U.A.D Café, 3:12 p.m.]

Jimin: The next morning, when I woke up, my roommate hyung told me I made a huge scene in front of everyone. He told me to apologise to the guy, whom I apparently insulted pretty badly, I don't even know.
Jimin put down his spoon and hung his head low. Jongin frowned and patted Jimin on the back. Jongin: Jimin-ah... don't be so hard on yourself. You know how your drunk habits are.
Jimin sighed and looked up at his two best friends.
Jimin: You guys don't get it - from yesterday I haven't talked to any one in the house because I was so embarrassed I couldn't face any of them. Not even the girl I'm interested in.
Jimin sighed for the millionth time and ruffled his hair with both hands. Taemin smiled and laid a hand on Jimin's shoulder.
Taemin: You're really into that girl, aren't you?
Jimin nodded sadly.
Taemin: Then listen to hyung - go talk to her. Go talk to everyone and apologise, then talk to her one-on-one and apologise.
Jimin looked up into his friend's eyes. Taemin nodded assuringly.
Jimin: I really should?
Taemin: Yeah! Ask Jongin.
Jongin: I think that's the best thing you can do right now. You already made a mistake and if you don't apologise fast enough, you might make a worse mistake and lose the girl you're interested in.
Jimin nodded.
Jimin: I know what I need to do now. Thanks, hyung-deul.

Sangmin: They're both really wise.
RM: And Jimin-ssi really listens them to well, doesn't he?

[S.Q.U.A.D Café, 3:15 p.m.]

Taemin smiled.
Taemin: That's the way.
Jongin added on.
Jongin: Who asked you to drink so much in the first place - you know how you are when you're drunk! You start popping suddenly and speak gibberish that is actually your true feelings!

Eana: They know him so well... looks like they're really good friends.
V: I wish I had such amazing friends!
J-Hope side-eyes V.
J-Hope: Excuse me, young man. You do! You have us, then you have your Bogum-hyung, Hwarang-hyungs... you have way more friends than I do!
V: Hyung, you have me!
V throws himself onto J-Hope and J-Hope immediately hugs him back. RM watches them awkwardly and laughs.
RM: I sure hope Jimin-ssi heeds their advice.
Eana: Yeah, even if she's upset she'd probably feel better after they talk it out.

Author's Note

Kim Jongin is EXO Kai's real name. Kai has one of the most handsome faces in k-pop in my personal opinion - his body measurements are no joke too. I really respect the way he dances as well. Kai has gone into acting a few years ago and I've watched a couple of them. In this story, however, he is not from an idol group but simply a fellow dancer and Jimin's best friend.

Lee Taemin is from a originally 5-member (now 4-member) group SHINee. SHINee was the first group that I really liked when I got into k-pop. My bias was Jonghyun so when he passed away in December 2017, I was devastated and cried for days. Now, I still cry about it from time to time when I think of him or hear his voice. Anyway, Taemin is the main dancer of his group as he is extremely good at dancing. He's also known as the golden maknae for not being afraid of his hyungs. In this story, however, he is not from an idol group but simply a fellow dancer and Jimin's best friend.

Kai and Taemin are both part of Jimin's close group of friends, comprising of: Jimin (BTS), Kai (EXO), Taemin (SHINee), Sungwoon (WANNA ONE), Timotheo (HOTSHOT) and Jung Kwon Ho (non-celebrity). They are really close and have had many interactions with each other at music shows and award shows in the past. They even made a squad parka for everyone in the squad - squad goals much.
