"Do you people really need to ask so many questions? Don't answer that. Anyway, I, no, umm, I created an entity and told the girls to bring a blanket. Ashley brought the bear and the blanket. Since you told me that you didn't want to be carried, I made myself invisible so that they wouldn't misunderstand. And now this. Now, would you please go so I can concentrate on my cooking? Thank you!" he said.
"Okay, okay. Geez!" I said as I went outside. He really needed something. I just can't seem to pinpoint it right now.
"Guys! Food's ready!" he called out as soon as I took a couple of steps from the door. I looked at him with a weirded out expression.
"What?" he asked.
"But I just stepped out!"
"And so? Anyway, food's ready. Let's eat!" he said. I scratched my head and walked back inside the house. My eyes widened at the amount of food on top of the table in the function room.
"How did you? What?"
"Time is distorted here, remember?"
"But how!"
"What's for lunch?" Crystal asked as they burst through the door.
"Oooh... food!" Rebecca said. All of them grabbed a plate and sat down at the couch before I could even sit down.
"You guys didn't tell me you were THAT hungry." he commented. They're already stuffing their faces with food.
"Well, we couldn't prepare breakfast because we searched for her, and then, you came in and told us she was outside. We brought the blanket and then we started the training session." she said.
"We haven't even bathed yet!" Rebecca butted in.
"Well, sorry!"
"But I thought I told you guys to prepare before bringing out the blanket." he said as he grabbed a piece of food, "Hmm... guess not."
"So... can we have the rest of the day off?" Heather eagerly asked.
"Ha-ha. No!"
"But why? You're not teaching us anything, anyway."
"I was actually planning to teach you guys something after Madeleine woke up. But, I think I'm gonna give you the rest of the day off. Sound good?"
"But you told us you'd only teach us after she accesses her powers!" Crystal objected.
"I have to agree with Crystal on this one. Why would you teach us something when you know one of us won't be able to learn it?" Heather said.
"She's a smart girl. She'll be able to do it once she gains access to her powers. I'm sure of it. Besides, I'll give up looking for a solution to her problem if she won't be able to access her powers tomorrow or the day after."
"How can you be so sure about that?"
"I always keep my word. As I already said, she'd have the option to go home if after the day after tomorrow comes and she still doesn't have powers."
"But why give up in the first place?"
"Because there is nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing, in the demon world that can last for more than 5 days. Well, that's known, of course."
"Is that the reason why you'll give up? I thought you were strong."
"I am strong. And maybe that's all I am."
"What does that even mean?"
"That means I may be strong, but I'm not knowledgeable."
"I know what you meant! Still, how are you able to get that strong without being knowledgeable?"
