Chapter Twenty

"....I dunno if that's possible."Normani shrugged.

"That's not an option."Ally said sharply.

"But we can make it one."Dinah said softly.

"How can we make it one when it's not...an...option?"Ally glared at Dinah.

"Ally, I know you're upset and worried. But don't take it out on me. Now is not the time."Dinah lifted a brow.

"I'm not upset. I'm just sayin. Why make it an option? I hate Epic. This is not gonna work. Their not gonna count that and accept it as an option. I'm telling you that now."Ally shrugged carelessly.

"You don't know that for sure, though."Normani looked at Ally.

"Wanna bet?"Ally sat up in the recliner. "Let's go. When we get to the meeting, you ask them and watch what they say."

"Ok bet."Normani said before getting up and grabbing her phone and purse.

"That's wasn't an option."said Johnathan, he was apart of Epic management.

"But it could be."Dinah spoke up while Ally looked at both Dinah and Normani with a look of I told you so.

"But it's not, and it won't."said Johnathan sternly. "Now choose: cancel the first week, or go through and make changes?? What's it gonna be?"

Ally rolled her eyes and then three girls all looked at each other. They mumbled their decisions to each other and Normani looked back at Johnathan.

"Let's just cancel it."

"Ok good."Johnathan nodded. "Now that I know that's you alls decision, we should discuss you guys getting your own separate places to stay."

"wait what?"The three girls said together. "Why?"

"I knew you'd react this way."chuckled Johnathan. "Because it's the best option. You guys need your own personal spaces. And when Lauren gets out the hospital, most likely she's gonna try to go to a hotel. To prevent that, you guys need a some place to live at alone."

"Oh I'm down with that."Ally smiled, because after Lauren gets out, she has things she needs to tell Lauren and after she tells Lauren, Lauren's gonna feel different and some things might happen....sexually.

Ally doesn't know for sure that'll happen, but she's prayed on it, so hopefully.

"I like that, besides, I want my own room and I like sleeping naked."Dinah said carelessly and Normani rolled her eyes playfully.

"But I'll miss you freaks,"Ally pouted and Dinah smiled.

"I miss you too, pretty girl."

"We also need to discuss a hiatus."Johnathan added.

"Ok now you're going too goddamn far."Normani said with a lifted brow.

"Yeah we were doing good till you said all that."Dinah said with side eye.

Johnathan sighed. "I need you guys to separate and focus on your careers. You can get back together later on. But I need y'all to branch out for a little. It'll help with you guys relationship more than you think."

"Wait wait wait wait wait."Ally stood up. "I don't feel comfortable making all these decisions without Lauren. We can't find an apartment for her, of course she's gonna wanna look for her own. She's gonna be homeless till she does. And it's not like we can get her family to do it because suddenly her family doesn't give a damn about her."

"Yeah this doesn't feel right."Dinah nodded. "Let's just put this conversation on pause until we can come back with Lauren."

"But that's gonna be a while."Johnathan said while looking at his calendar. "We need to get you girls situated with your own homes as soon as possible."

Normani nodded as she and the girls walked toward the door. "And we will. As soon as Lauren gets better and gets out. See ya soon."

Sooo basically....nothing moves till Lauren is better and included, right? Now THATS what I call a girl group!

Lauren will be back soon, and she will tell y'all how she feels because I know y'all are itching to know.
